French police arrest man suspected of starting fires that caused explosion outside synagogue

The National Antiterrorism Prosecutor's Office said the attack was being investigated as an attempted assassination linked to a terrorist group and destruction of property with dangerous means.

00:38A police officer who walked up to the site was injured after a propane gas tank in one

00:43of the vehicles exploded.

00:46Five people, including the rabbi who were in the synagogue at the time of the attack,

00:50were unharmed.
