00:00Abbott Elementary was initially conceived, I think, by Quinta as an animation project.

00:05Oh, wow.

00:06And I think Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacher, who were partners on the development of it,

00:11you know, convinced her that it should be a live action.

00:14And then when they pitched it to the studio and the network, well, studio, you know, they

00:18thought, sure, Lee Ralph would be the kind of lead of it, but everybody was like, no,

00:22you actually are.

00:23So, you know, Quinta wanted to be like number two on the call sheet or number three so she

00:28could be, but it's obvious that she should be in front of the camera as much as possible.
