00:00I know. We go live to listen to the Vice President of the Venezuelan Republic,
00:04Delcy Rodríguez, and her statements.
00:18Because they are superior to Venezuela. They believe, as Washington supports them,
00:25the Department of State of the United States and the fascist governments of the world,
00:31they believe that since then they can do whatever they want in Venezuela.
00:36They are wrong, since we have a lot of people in Venezuela and a lot of history and also
00:42a lot of institutions here to grant the peace and tranquility of our republic.
00:55González Urrutia also said that he wasn't going to sign the agreement to recognize the results.
01:06They were preparing so days before the elections. And just the day before,
01:13they bought an internet domain where they published the results. And based on those fake results,
01:22they sold the world's lie. But the true fraud was the one they were committing.
01:33They were consuming. Imagine you. What a danger for Venezuela.
01:40Repeating this history of Juan Guaido. But this time, they said, we didn't write
01:48the formula of taking anyone and proclaiming the president of Venezuela.
01:55Let's pretend it's a candidate. Let's pretend that there's a candidate
02:02and show it around the supposed candidate. But they also said that the results were the ones they had.
02:10The ones they had. An enterprise that committed electoral fraud in the name of the United States
02:18and other countries in the world that responded to the orders of the Washington government.
02:24And here they repeated it. But they never thought that the Venezuelan people in such
02:31time defended democracy and rebuilt constitutional order immediately.
02:39That our armed force and our institutions for security, along with the people,
02:46defended Venezuela's peace, defended Venezuela's tranquility.
02:52But this doesn't mean that they're not responsible, Gonzalez Urrutia
02:57and Maria Corina Machado, of the many deaths that we had. More than 12,000 in those days
03:05after the elections of July the 28th. They are responsible and they have to pay in front of
03:10justice. Since they left against our officials, against our police force, against our state
03:22police, they attacked them and murdered them. They have to pay. If they pretend to be supported
03:31by the United States, then show your face. Present yourself in front of justice like it's demanded.
03:42And I, in the name of the president, Nicolás Maduro, I want to thank this document
03:52that comes from you, from the social movements in its different expressions, because you
04:06are calling for democracy. And also, it's very important that after that fraud that they
04:12pretended to impose in our homeland, to the world web of fascists supporting them,
04:20it is important that our answer is keep working for Venezuela, keep guaranteeing our future of
04:26peace and tranquility, because we have, yes, a blockade that we have to fight to ensure
04:33social happiness of our people. And this Sunday, we have something beautiful, the election,
04:40the election of the 4,500 districts to choose the projects of our community in front of,
04:52to face fascism, to face fascism, more democracy, more people's participation,
05:00to face fascism, government of all the popular sectors of Venezuela.
05:05They believe that they can take the power from the people.
05:11Chávez did an indestructible power that has allowed that Venezuela is seen today
05:20with amazement in front of all things that we have,
05:25the commercial blockade, dictatorship of social media and algorithms that promote
05:32disease of hate and fascism. When we developed the law project, we said it. The owners of the
05:44great technological empires, when they went to the Congress of the United States, they said
05:51that the algorithms privileged death to life, hate to love, violence to peace.
06:02Social media became algorithms to support violence, to support death, to support hate.
06:10And that's why I, as Venezuelan, feel sadness when I heard some of the detainees saying,
06:19yes, I killed her, because in social media, they said that we have to kill Chávez.
06:27We don't need to allow that disease that they are creating to our young people in our society.
06:36We need to create a powerful education from schools and family, inculcate values,
06:45the values that mean appreciate our lives and other people's lives, what means to respect
06:52life itself and others' lives, what means friendship, the value of friendship and brotherhood.
07:05Above hate, love must prevail. And that's why, in the name of the President, I receive this
07:12document with love as the expression of your love for Venezuela, your love for preserving peace,
07:20taking care of peace that has took care of us, because extreme right, since Chávez in 1998,
07:32came to power, they haven't rest with their hate.
07:37The extremists of yesterday are the ones we're seeing in the pictures today.
07:42The images are the same. The faces are the same. They don't change.
07:46The opposites, they have become people without soul. They don't care about murdering. They don't
07:53care about condemning a whole nation to economic blockade. They don't have a soul. That is why
08:01we have this law against fascism and any kind of expression of fascism,
08:10because we know what it means, what it meant in Europe, the fascism disease that came from the
08:19United States and caused the Second World War. And we, from Venezuela, have responsibility,
08:26not only for our people, but also for humanity. A human humanity, like Martí said. Humanity must
08:34be human, and fascism never will triumph. Love, peace, and brotherhood, and friendship,
08:44will always triumph. Long life for Venezuela.
