00:00Max Caulfield, the girl who could rewind time, is back.

00:05Let's thrash, Chocobra.

00:07But when one of her new friends,

00:09Safi Llewellyn Fyad, is murdered in the grounds of Caledon University,

00:14Max finds that her chaotic power has changed.

00:18Now, Max must shift back and forth to reveal the truth of

00:22her friend's murder in an attempt to save Safi before it's too late.

00:29Once Max's new power manifests,

00:31she can send a pulse out from her fingertips at any time.

00:35While pulse is active, she can peer through to the other world,

00:39seeing the differences between the timelines clearly.

00:43People and objects in the other timeline appear as dimensional echoes,

00:48allowing Max to avoid watchful eyes when shifting.

01:04she can also see places where the veil between the two timelines is at its thinnest.

01:43Shift points work in both directions,

01:45so you can shift back and forth from the same spot.

01:49So I found this guy named Allen, but he didn't know anything about a wrench.

02:25confirming the reality you've just arrived in.

02:28As well as there being visual cues such as

02:31cheery Christmas decor in the timeline where Safi is alive.

02:36Most importantly to Max's investigation,

02:39everyone you meet has an increasingly divergent duplicate in the other timeline.

02:46Depending on which timeline you're in,

02:48they'll react to Max and her probing questions very differently.

02:54A grief sodden conversation in one timeline

02:57may unlock an unexpected heart to heart in the other.

03:01Grief is hard.

03:03The trick is not to let it change your character.

03:06Everyone at Caledon is hiding something

03:09and Max is the only one with a viewpoint unique enough to unravel those secrets

03:15and the determination to reach the truth at all costs.

03:20Everybody's talking about her like she had a heart attack or a car accident.

03:26But she was murdered.

03:29Someone murdered her.

03:31I don't know how we're expected to just be okay with that.

03:37Max has never been so powerful or in so much danger.

03:41The fates of her friends and of two timelines are at Max's fingertips.
