00:05Penguins not re-signing Jake Gensel, who was willing to re-sign there, but quite frankly,

00:09didn't want to pay him. So what is the plan? I don't think a lot of people can have a lot

00:14of confidence in Kyle Dubas, former GM of the Leafs, who's running the Penguins right now.

00:18He's sort of all over the place. And we all sort of thought and knew he was brought in there to

00:24be the bad guy. I'll be the one that trades Crosby. I'll be the one that sort of breaks

00:29this team up, but don't worry about it. I'll put it together. He's a modern analytic guy

00:35with a bunch of older players. He doesn't like his team. They don't like him. It's a weird like

00:40mix in Pittsburgh right now. Crosby's been there like half of his life, like half of his adult

00:46life. Like literally, that's all he knows. All he knows is Quebec, like Nova Scotia, Quebec,

00:51and Pittsburgh, like three places he's been, and that's it, right? He played for Rimouski,

00:56and he's from Nova Scotia. So he doesn't like change, man. Like he's a very, very routine type

01:04of person. Yet, Scott, you couldn't blame him at this point. This isn't like charity or something.

01:12The dude's one of the best players in the NHL still. I don't care he's 37 years old. He's

01:16literally, and he just had one of his best years in recent years. He's at the top of his game.

01:22We're going into the last year of his contract, guys. This is it. Sidney Crosby's a free agent

01:28after this hockey season. He hasn't signed yet, and the word from Jason Mackey at the

01:34Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is it's very worrisome that him and his agent have backed off, even

01:40talks about this. It looks like we are going to go into a year here in which Crosby's going to be

01:45in his last year of his contract. Let me bring up, they're playing the Four Nations Cup this year,

01:50which is a rehearsal for the Olympics. Team Canada, USA, Sweden, Finland, four-team tournament.

01:56He's going to be around all the best Canadian players in the National Hockey League playing

02:00with them. It's going to be a heavy recruitment job. Nate McKinnon's from the same town as

02:05Crosby, a small town in Nova Scotia, same area, same as Marchant of the Bruins. They're all from

02:11the same area. My guess is if he leaves, he ends up on the Colorado Avalanche. I'm just throwing
