Chrysalis formed by students in Ithaca, New York , they played in Greenwich Village and got a record deal with MGM rec. The music of Chrysalis is a mixture of acid folk, jazz, baroque and Middle Eastern music, with a Zappesque style, and sublime male/female vocal harmonies.
