In this episode I give some quick hints and tips on how to prepare for the soon to be released heists, from what is needed to start heists to what cars and weapons to use.
The information in the video is based on information given by Rockstar and various game media outlets who have had access to hesits.

00:00Hello everybody, welcome back to another episode of GTA Online.
00:03Now first of all, apologies if the quality seems a bit weird, I'm doing this on the Xbox DVR,
00:08which isn't always that reliable, I haven't really used it before.
00:11I'm also having to do the narration after the recording, so, you know, if it seems a bit out of sync, that's why.
00:17But today, in today's episode we're going to be looking at heists, or more specifically, how to prepare for heists.
00:22You know, what you need to set them up, advise on transportation, vehicles,
00:27even the clothing that will help maximise your chance of survival, such as the bulletproof helmet.
00:33First of all, the heists don't actually come out until March 10th,
00:36so this is based on information from the Rockstar Newswire and various media outlets that have had previews of heists.
00:44Now, heists are quite similar to the offline mode heists, from what we can see.
00:50You know, you've got your set-up missions, you've got your main heist,
00:53you've got choosing what crew members do what job, and then you obviously get a share of the money that's received from the heists.
01:00Now, to actually join the heists, it's relatively simple.
01:03As far as I'm aware, you just have to have an account, be invited to the heists, and you can join the heists.
01:09If you want to set up a heist, it's a bit more difficult.
01:12The heist leader has to be level 12, which is easy, but they also need to have a high-end interior,
01:19so, you know, a high-end apartment is quite an expensive thing to get.
01:25More specifically, you need the boardroom at the back, which we're just walking over to.
01:30Now, if you want to know what flats or apartments have the high-end interior, this is actually simple to do.
01:38If you go to the laptop, or online internet, or in GTA, go to the Dynasty 8 website, property listings, and you've got a high-end category up here.
01:48If you scroll down, the cheapest one is $200,000.
01:52So, if you haven't got a high-end apartment already, it's going to be quite expensive to get one.
01:58The heist leader also has to pay for any upfront costs,
02:02so they're going to have to put in a lot more initial investment than the rest of the heist members.
02:08But being the heist leader, you also get to choose who gets what percentage cut everyone gets,
02:15so you can give yourself a higher cut off the money you receive from the heists.
02:20So, you can get back your initial investment that way,
02:24maybe another way is to get other heist members to contribute their own money,
02:28send it to you, and they all get an equal share at the end.
