01:18If I do not work hard, then it is written in predestination that I will be poor.

01:22What is the meaning of predestination?

01:24God says in Surah Isra,

01:26Whenever a person is born,

01:28I write the entire story of his future in his neck.

01:36I will give you an example to explain.

01:39For example, if a teacher teaches in a class,

01:46and before the examination, he says that this student will come first in the entire class,

01:53this student will pass from the second class,

01:56that student will fail.

01:58I am giving an example, do not feel bad.

02:01And the examination takes place,

02:03and this student comes first,

02:05this student passes from the second class,

02:07and this student fails.

02:08I ask you this question,

02:10that the student who failed,

02:13can he say that because the teacher said that he will fail, that is why he failed?

02:18Can he say that?

02:19Can he say that or not?

02:20He cannot say that.

02:21Why?

02:22The teacher is saying from his experience,

02:24this student is very good,

02:26he studies a lot, that is why he will come first,

02:28this student is good, he is in the second class,

02:30this student watches movies,

02:31he does not attend the class, that is why he will fail.

02:33So, from his experience,

02:35he says about the future.

02:38But,

02:39that student will not be able to say,

02:41because the teacher said that he will fail, that is why he failed.

02:44Who is the culprit?

02:46The student himself,

02:47because he did not study.

02:48In the same way, if you compare,

02:50Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is much higher than the teacher.

02:53The teacher can make mistakes sometimes.

02:56Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala has the knowledge of the unseen.

02:59He knows about the future.

03:02Whenever there is a task,

03:04some things are fixed,

03:06where you will be born,

03:07when you will die,

03:08some things are complete.

03:09Other than that,

03:10Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala has given you free will.

03:13Free will,

03:14means you can choose whatever you want.

03:16Allah Ta'ala has given guidance in the Qur'an and Hadith.

03:19But, it is up to you,

03:20whether you follow it or not.

03:22But, Allah Ta'ala knows what you will do.

03:25For example,

03:26you are walking on a road,

03:28and you come to a crossroad.

03:30There are four roads,

03:31No. 1, No. 2, No. 3, No. 4.

03:34You can choose any road.

03:38You choose the road No. 3.

03:41Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala already knows about the unseen.

03:45He already knew that

03:46when you come to a crossroad,

03:48you will take the road No. 3.

03:50So, Allah Ta'ala already knows that

03:52you will choose the road No. 3.

03:54Because Allah Ta'ala wrote,

03:56that is why you are not choosing.

03:57Because you were about to choose,

03:58Allah Ta'ala wrote.

04:00This is called the knowledge of the unseen.

04:02Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala has the knowledge of the unseen.

04:04Allah Ta'ala already knew that

04:06you will choose the road No. 3.

04:07And Allah Ta'ala has written in his destiny,

04:08that you will choose the road No. 3.

04:10Because Allah Ta'ala wrote,

04:12that is why you are not choosing.

04:13Because you were about to choose,

04:14Allah Ta'ala wrote.

04:16And I will give you another example.

04:18You have passed the 10th and 12th.

04:20You can become a doctor,

04:21you can become an engineer,

04:23you can become a lawyer.

04:24You will choose to become a doctor.

04:26Allah Ta'ala knows that

04:28when you pass the 12th,

04:29you can become all three things.

04:31You can become a doctor,

04:32you can become an engineer,

04:33you can become a lawyer.

04:34You will choose to become a doctor.

04:36Allah Ta'ala has written in his destiny,

04:38that you will pass the 12th and become a doctor.

04:40Because Allah Ta'ala wrote,

04:42that is why you became a doctor.

04:44Because you chose,

04:45that is why Allah Ta'ala wrote.

04:48Do you understand?

04:50Some people,

04:51tomorrow they have an exam.

04:52Tomorrow they have an exam.

04:54It is good.

04:55It is good.

04:56The student is good.

04:57Tomorrow they have an exam.

04:58What is there to study?

05:00It is written in their destiny,

05:01that if you pass, you pass.

05:02If you fail, you fail.

05:03And he does not study,

05:04and he fails.

05:05It is written in their destiny,

05:06that if this person studied,

05:07he would have passed.

05:08But his thinking was also wrong.

05:11Allah Ta'ala has written in his destiny,

05:13that if this person studied,

05:14he would have passed.

05:15But he thought,

05:16what should I study?

05:17If I do not study,

05:18I will fail.

05:19So who is the culprit?

05:20Allah or him?

05:22Him himself.

05:23It is written in his destiny.

05:25He could have passed,

05:26but he does not study,

05:27that is why he failed.

05:28If he fails,

05:29then he will say,

05:30look, I cannot avoid destiny.

05:33That is why it is said,

05:35Allah has said,

05:37if you are so proud of yourself,

05:38before destiny,

05:39ask yourself,

05:40what is this pleasure?

05:43And it is mentioned in Hadith,

05:45that prayer can change destiny.

05:48For example,

05:49if you go for an exam,

05:52and your paper does not go well,

05:54and you know that you will fail,

05:57you come home,

05:58and pray to Allah Ta'ala,

05:59O Allah,

06:00O Allah,

06:01I did not do well in the exam,

06:02please pass me.

06:03Allah Ta'ala will accept your prayer,

06:05and pass you.

06:06It is written in destiny,

06:07that you did not do well in the exam,

06:09you were going to fail.

06:10But you prayed,

06:12Allah Ta'ala also knows,

06:14whether you are going to pray or not.

06:16And it is also written in destiny,

06:17that Allah Ta'ala will accept your prayer.

06:19Allah Ta'ala also knows,

06:20if after 100 years,

06:21a person will pray,

06:22Allah Ta'ala also knows,

06:23will he accept the prayer or not?

06:25That is also written in destiny.

06:26That is why,

06:27we should pray every day.

06:28We should pray every time.

06:29We should pray every time.

06:30Prayer can change your destiny,

06:32which means,

06:33it can change the riddle,

06:34which was going to be your riddle.

06:38that you are going to pray.

06:47Allah Ta'ala will accept your prayer,

06:48and you will pass.

06:50That is why,

06:51we Muslims should have faith in Allah.

06:53But,

06:54Allah's Messenger said,

06:55have faith in Allah,

06:56but tie the camel.

06:58You can't say,

06:59I have Taqwa on Allah,

07:00I will keep the door of my house open,

07:01no one will come to rob me.

07:03Allah's Messenger said,

07:04have faith in Allah,

07:05but tie the camel.

07:07So, you should have complete faith in Allah.

07:09But,

07:10you should work hard yourself.

07:12You should do Jihad yourself.

07:13You should follow the Qur'an yourself.

07:15You will say,

07:16it is written in destiny,

07:17that I will steal,

07:18I will steal,

07:19so I won't do it.

07:20And you will steal,

07:21and you will say,

07:22it is written in destiny,

07:23it is your mistake,

07:24not Allah Ta'ala's.

07:25So,

07:26you should work hard,

07:28for a good cause.

07:29Understand the Qur'an,

07:30and follow it.

07:31Insha'Allah,

07:32you will be successful in this world and the hereafter.
