00:00Liam Payne, AJ McLean, Kelly Rowland and Nicole Scherzinger know a thing or two about being in a

00:05group. Nicole even had a hand in making Liam's massively successful group One Direction.

00:15Netflix has recruited the four for their new reality show Building the Band. AJ is set to

00:20host the new program while Nicole will serve as a mentor and judge alongside Kelly and Liam on

00:25the judging panel. Building the Band will bring together a number of talented singers and test

00:30forming their own bands without ever seeing each other. Isolated in individual booths,

00:35all they'll have to go on when selecting their bandmates is musical compatibility,

00:39connection, chemistry and merit according to a release. It's giving X Factor meets Love is Blind.

00:48The contestants are in good hands. AJ being a member of Backstreet Boys, Liam went through

00:52the reality show band making machine on X Factor while both Kelly of Destiny's Child and Nicole of

00:57the Pussycat Dolls served as judges on X Factor. Taking two out of this group that was here and

01:03one out of here and putting these two together. Four of you could bring something very special
