00:00He fits in very well, and I'm really thankful for that.
00:03I know you took the kids on vacation recently
00:06with your boyfriend, Mark, earlier this summer.
00:07So how does he fit into the family dynamics,
00:09and does he get along with the kids?
00:11Yeah, it's been so easy.
00:13I mean, I'm really thankful for that.
00:14My kids love him.
00:15You know, he loves my kids.
00:16He actually took my kids to school last Friday morning,
00:20and it was easy.
00:21And it's just, he fits in very well,
00:23and I'm really thankful for that.
00:25I want to ask you really quickly about those kids of yours.
00:27You got your hands full, actually.
00:28I want to know about their milestones.
00:30Where are they at right now?
00:31Any recent milestones with them?
00:33Well, we're not so much in, like, the milestone era anymore,
00:36but Camden, my oldest, is in middle school.
00:38He's starting quarterback, playing tackle football.
00:41So he had his first game last Thursday,
00:43and I was crying the night before.
00:45You know, it's like one of those things where I want
00:47to show emotion to him, but I don't want to be, like,
00:49over the top and have him be worried about me.
00:51So it was like, I was shedding tears,
00:53but I was trying to hold him back.
00:54And he's like, Mom, I'm not going to get hurt.
00:55I'm going to be fine.
00:56He's like, even if I get hit, I have big pads on.
00:58I'm like, I know, but it was so emotional.
01:01But he played great.
01:02He didn't get hit, so I was so happy.
01:04So that's really fun.
01:06And then Jackson is in fifth grade,
01:07so he's a big man on campus before middle school.
01:10Taylor's third grade, and I can just tell,
01:12it's like all of a sudden overnight,
01:13she's becoming like a, not a woman,
01:17but you know, she's like almost like,
01:18she's like eight going on 18.
01:20You know, she's into makeup now,
01:21and she's aware of, like, all of these social trends.
01:25And she's just getting sassy.
01:26And I don't know.
01:27They're just getting older.
01:28It's wild to see.
01:30Talk to me about how you got into partnership
01:33with Kind Bars.
01:34I've been a huge fan of Kind for years and years,
01:37and my kids love them.
01:39So they just came out with these new Kind Kids Bars,
01:42and they're a soft baked bar.
01:45And my kids love them.
01:46I love them too.
01:47And so they came to me about doing this video,
01:49this partnership, and I couldn't be more excited.
01:51You know, for parents, my kids have now been in school
01:54for a week, which is crazy.
01:56But, you know, that chaos of the mornings
01:58of like back to school, you know, making breakfast,
02:00packing lunches, getting the snacks, you know,
02:02all the things, having one less thing to worry about,
02:05which is, you know, snacks that my kids actually like,
02:07is as a mom, one of the best things, you know,
02:10just easy things that we can grab, go out the door.
02:12It's just one less thing that I have to worry
02:14about in the morning.
02:14So I'm a huge fan of Kind and couldn't be more excited
02:17about this partnership.
02:18Well, take some time, breathe.
02:19I know it's time to get the kitties back to school.
02:21So continue making it look not so glamorous,
02:24but continue doing the damn thing
02:25for all moms out there, Kristen.
02:27Thank you, I appreciate it.
