18:11Why do some stuff float and why do some stuff sink?

18:15The answer is something that is called density.

18:18Everything is made out of tiny particles that we can't see.

18:23A plastic spoon and a metal spoon have the same shape and size,

18:27but the particles in the metal spoon are closer to each other.

18:31Water has density also,

18:33but density of metal is more than the density of water, so it sinks.

18:38The density of plastic is less than the density of water,

18:41so the plastic spoon floats.
