Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, attracted thousands of supporters to a campaign rally in Arizona on Friday as the new Democratic ticket continued their tour of battleground states.

00:15Oh my goodness, oh it's good to be back in Arizona. Good evening everyone.

00:29So Tim, Tim we know him by, we know him by governor, but you'll soon get to know his

00:36wife Gwen, to whom, you know what, hold on a second, hold on, hold on, hold on

00:42everybody, hold on, hold on, hold on. Here's the thing, we are all in here

00:49together. I'm told an extraordinary number of folks who are here together

00:56because we love our country. We're here to fight for our democracy,

01:08which includes respecting the voices that I think that we are hearing from,

01:14and let me just say this on topic of what I think I'm hearing over there. Let

01:19me just speak to that for a moment and then I'm going to get back to the

01:22business in hand.

01:29So let me say, I have been clear, now is the time to get a ceasefire deal and get the hostage deal done.

01:42Now is the time, and the president and I are working around the clock every day

01:50to get that ceasefire deal done and bring the hostages home.

02:01So I respect your voices, but we are here to now talk about this race in 2024.
