00:00The Department of Agriculture said that the African swine fever has spread to eight areas in Batangas.
00:06These towns include Lian, Rosario, Talisay, Lipa, Tuy, San Juan, Lubo, and Calatagan,
00:15which have been declared in a state of emergency.
00:17To combat the outbreak, the DAI says start the vaccination campaign for hogs in Batangas in the third week of August.
00:26Almost 40 barangays have received the ASF in eight towns in Batangas.
00:36There are new cases that are still spreading.
00:41Lipa has already been declared free of ASF.
00:45So we are seeing a resurgence.
00:48It is possible that travelers will be infected in other places.
