50 years after his iconic high-wire walk between the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center, Philippe Petit sought to honour that historic feat with a new performance at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine.

00:00What I did tonight was remind people of a glorious day of the Twin Towers.
00:26I don't have to remind people of the Doomed Day, but yes, yes, it gives a certain significance
00:32when you talk about a legend or a history and the object of that history is not standing
00:38in front of you, but that's what the miracle of memory is about.
