PH's Ando fails to win medal in weightlifting in Paris 2024 Olympics
There's no medal for Filipino weightlifter Elreen Ando in the women's 59-kg division at the Paris Olympics. She, however, lifted a personal best 130 kgs in the clean and jerk in her final attempt and registered a total of 230 kgs after clearing 100 kgs in the snatch on Aug. 8, 2024. She placed sixth among the 12 competitors.
