00:08Okay then, Scott, today seems to have gone really well.
00:12So far so good, yeah.
00:14The weather's holding out for us, so that's the main thing at the moment.
00:18It was forecast to be wet in the afternoon, and to be honest,
00:22that's near four o'clock now, there's not a spot of rain yet, so
00:26I think we might have just about got away with it.
00:28Crowd numbers, it's great, there's a lot of people here.
00:30Car park was full by 12 o'clock, which was just incredible really.
00:34It brings a problem also at the same time too,
00:38but we managed to overcome it at the same time too.
00:42Great show of cattle, great show of sheep, horses,
00:46domestic crafts, trades, the quality's there,
00:50that's what we strive to have.
00:52The afternoon programme, we're just halfway through it just now,
00:54we've got a lot to go yet.
00:56So yeah, fastest farmer event, that was new this year.
01:00Brilliant crowd, loved it.
01:02We've got the speech here this evening, so looking forward to that.
01:06Pressure's on to get that started for six.
01:08Brilliant, it's the week as well, set up as well,
01:14we take the whole week to set up.
01:16We set up from the Sunday right through to the Wednesday night.
01:20Okay, we could probably do it in quicker time,
01:22but there's a lot of bodies here, and we all meet and we sit
01:24and we have lunch together and a barbecue and a beer,
01:26and it's a brilliant craic and everyone enjoys it.
01:29Sometimes this is the time that you only get to see each other.
01:32There's faces I see only once a year and it's at the Glamtown show.
01:36It wouldn't happen without the volunteers, would it?
01:38No, no.
01:40The helpers we've got, we must have had nearly 50 odd people here on Sunday,
01:44maybe half of that on Tuesday, but it's absolutely fantastic.
01:49We've got a good squad of people here today helping us out.
01:54They all know their bit and they're all learning,
01:56a lot of young ones as well, and I think that's one thing we've strived to do,
02:00is bring the younger ones into the committee,
02:02helping set up the show, helping run the show,
02:04and helping tidy it up as well, which is obviously a challenge as well.
02:09But no, it's brilliant and I think Susie, as President,
02:12has done a really good job of helping us out with that,
02:14getting the younger ones in it as well.
