00:13McLaren F1. They can reach a top speed of 75 mph, or 120 km per hour. They can achieve this,

00:22due to their light build, long thin legs and a long tail, with the longest and most flexible spine,

00:27of any large cat species, that enables them to maximize their stride length.

00:32They weigh about 21 to 72 kilograms, or 46 to 159 pounds, and they can reach 1.5 meters,

00:40or 59 inches long. They are native to Africa and central Iran, with an estimated population to be

00:46fewer than 8000 individuals in the wild, which has been in decline, by about 50% in the last

00:51four decades, due to habitat destruction, poaching, and illegal pet trade, since cheetahs are known as

00:57one of the easiest exotic animals to tame.
