When I come to Pakistan, I always put weight on. Always.

And I wish Pakistanis would understand that there's only so much tea you can drink in a day.

It's straight away, oh, how you doing? Where you from, Scot? Oh, do you want a cup of tea?

Like, instantly.

So the hospitality here is something that I've never experienced in any other country.

I'll give you an example.

A Pakistani gets off the plane at Glasgow or London,

and they're walking down a random street.

You're going to get Londoners announcing, oh, where you from, Pakistan?

Oh, do you want to come into my house and come to my brother's son's wedding?

And do you want a cup of tea? You can spend the night here.

You won't get that, but I'll get that on the streets of Pakistan.

So that's the big difference between hospitality.

They want to make sure that you're having a good time.

And the element of that is that you're a foreigner, so they want to be nice to you.

And they want you to enjoy their country, whereas in the West,

people are looking at you going, oh, there's another foreigner.

You know, that's the difference.
