00:14Kids, we know that nouns are naming words used to name persons, animals, birds, places, things, and feelings.

00:26We also learned so many types of nouns. Now we are going to learn about genders.

00:35Every noun indicates that whether the person, animal, or thing we are talking about is a male, a female, or none of them.

00:49My friend's name is Olivia. Now can you judge from the name whether the friend is a boy or a girl?

01:05Yes, you can judge that it is a girl.

01:10And my other friend's name is John.

01:14Now can you judge from the name whether the friend is a boy or a girl?

01:21Yes, we can judge that John must be a boy.

01:26So the friend is male.

01:29So we have different naming words for males and females.
