00:00You want some food?
00:04Can I get some apple and blueberry?
00:08I've been away from the game
00:12a long time. And I left to make the most
00:16perfect human that has ever lived. Yeah, that's you. You're the most perfect
00:20human that ever lived. They asked me to come back and it seemed like
00:24an enticing offer. Come back for a championship
00:28match. Second biggest play of the year. The biggest
00:32in terms of crowd wise that we've had all year and that we will have all year.
00:36I think I've been in the business long enough to know that you don't turn those opportunities
00:40down.
00:44But I just still yearn
00:48for that interaction with the audience and there's nothing else that can fill it.
00:52No matter how fulfilling my life is with her
00:56I need that. I'm like a junkie you know. I need that aspect to I think
01:00be my best self.
01:04Growing up I always had this yearning to go
01:08off and do something big. It's a very
01:12unlikely story. I was so
01:16bad at it. But I loved it.
01:20For the first time in my life I wanted to become better at something.
01:24When she started in WWE she was fighting from the bottom.
01:28But she's an underdog. She's a fighter.
01:32I wasn't pegged to be a star.
01:36I knew something had to change. I knew something had to be different.
01:40Her goal was to go and be the best
01:44she could be worldwide.
01:48From Dublin, Ireland. Becky
01:52Lynch. Becky has lived by the
01:56philosophy dare to be different and dare to trust yourself
02:00to succeed. Becky is a great example of women
02:04not having to choose. I wanted to have a child and I
02:08wanted to be a mother. Nobody had
02:12gone had a kid and then come back as a full time worker.
02:16But I've always been a little bit of a rebel. I wasn't
02:20meant to be the talk of the entire industry.
02:24But here I
02:28am.
02:40I grew up in Dublin, Ireland.
02:44In a pretty small house in a pretty small neighbourhood.
02:48Rebecca was born on the 30th of January 1987.
02:52She was due on the 30th of January and she arrived on time.
02:56She's always been sort of accurate about everything.
03:00It was fun from the time she was born. She started crawling.
03:04She did it with great style. Like a panther.
03:08Nice and gently. So it was always great fun.
03:12My parents were separated when I was one.
03:16My mum was a flight attendant and so it was a lot on her
03:20to be looking after two kids. I have one older brother Richie
03:24and so she let my dad move back into the house.
03:28We did everything together as a family. Only just my parents weren't together.
03:32My dad was always creative. Great imagination.
03:36Anything is possible. My mum was you gotta work.
03:40You gotta be realistic. You gotta stick to a plan.
03:44Here I am.
03:48And then when I was 11, that was around the time I started drinking
03:52and smoking the wacky stuff and doing all the things that I wasn't supposed to do
03:56and not doing well in school. I decided that I should probably
04:00try and turn my life around. At the time I was a giant wrestling fan.
04:04Big wrestling fan.
04:08They'd be on live and be on at like one or two in the morning
04:12over here. So we used to always stay up and watch them and that was great.
04:16We used to bounce around on my mum's bed and sort of headlock or whatever.
04:20I started thinking of who do I want to be like?
04:24Who do I love? And I loved Mick Foley and I loved his ability to tell stories.
04:28Mankind has achieved his dream.
04:32It's a dream of everyone else who's been told you can't do it.
04:36And I loved Lita. She was so cool and she was badass.
04:40She had these big shoulders and so I wanted to try working out
04:44to look like Lita. But I didn't want to just go to the gym and do something
04:48conventional because I was an unconventional kid. But what I did
04:52discover was that they were opening a wrestling school in Ireland.
04:56And it was about an hour away from me. It was going to be opened up by
05:00a man named Virgil Devitt, i.e. Finn Balor.
05:04Myself and Paul Tracy, a lifelong
05:08friend of mine and my tag team partner at the time, decided we would
05:12open a training school in our hometown of Bray County Wicklow.
05:16You had to be 16 to join. I was only 15
05:20so I had to lie about my age. She actually told me she was doing something else.
05:24She told me she was doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, is that the word?
05:28And I thought, well that's fine. She hated wrestling.
05:32My dad drove me down there, gave me the
05:36tenor so that I could do it. It was just a passion with her.
05:40And then once she took it on, she took it on more or less full time.
05:44I was the only girl in the place and you have to
05:48believe me when I say I was awful.
05:56She was terrible. She was uncoordinated.
06:00She was unathletic. She was a disaster.
06:06I was so bad at it
06:10but I did not care. For the first time in my life I wanted to become better
06:14at something. She consistently grew and developed and changed
06:18her approach and her look and her character and her gear.
06:22Constantly questioned everything, second guessed everything.
06:26I think if there's nothing else that you can learn
06:30from looking at Becky, it's if you stick to something and you give it
06:34your heart and soul, you will get better.
06:38Once she took it up, she was more focused and she became more focused in school.
06:42I could see a change in her. Still didn't like the idea that she was
06:46doing wrestling. I think so then. I was 17 when
06:50it clicked that I could actually make a living from this.
06:54Supergirl champion, Rebecca
06:58Nora! I dropped out of college
07:02and I moved off to Canada.
07:06And then suddenly
07:10stuff just took off. There is a suplex by
07:14Rebecca Knox who again has all the talent in the world.
07:18Took some bookings in the UK, I wrestled her in France
07:22and I ended up getting booked in Japan.
07:26Every goal that I wanted was
07:30happening. I remember hearing rumblings
07:34about this European girl, Rebecca Knox, that everybody
07:38was talking about. Rebecca Knox just turned 19
07:42and just how skilled she is at this point in her career.
07:46And then I remember one day it just, it was gone.
07:50Andrew getting hurt
07:54in a show in Germany. A suplex the girl
07:58she landed on my face.
08:02Got concussed and
08:06my eyes split open. When she came in from Germany
08:10and I saw the injury, it was me who said to her, you have to stop.
08:14This has gone too far. I left for 7 years.
08:18I didn't have to leave
08:22wrestling at 19 but I was going up against my mom who didn't want me
08:26wrestling but who was
08:30putting a roof over my head because I couldn't support myself.
08:34I kind of used that as an excuse to step away.
08:38I got so in my head, I got to succeed, I got to succeed, I got to succeed, but then it was like
08:42what if I do and what if I'm not good enough. I couldn't face it, I couldn't face it.
08:46I became a flight attendant, I was a personal trainer,
08:50I taught Pilates, I taught English as a
08:54foreign language, I went back to college, I studied clown.
08:58I kept trying to grasp at things. Maybe this will make me feel
09:02complete, maybe this will make me feel whole. And none of it did.
09:06None of it gave me that same drive and that same purpose that
09:10wrestling did. Then it was like, ah.
09:14You'll never be able to truly move on unless you find out.
09:18Robbie Brookside was talent scout for WWE.
09:22I'd met him years earlier wrestling in the UK.
09:26I'd call up Robbie Brookside and say, hey Robbie, do you remember me, Rebecca Knox?
09:30Robbie was like, I wonder what happened to you?
09:34We'd love to have you for this tryout.
09:38I said, Dad, I'm going for this and I'm not coming back.
09:42But that was her determination and you can't stop that. All you can do is encourage it.
09:46And I knew
09:50there is no way they're going to say no to me.
10:02WWE Performance Center is everything that I pictured
10:06a wrestling school would be when I was 15.
10:10And this is where they grow talent.
10:14And so I went for my tryout and I knew there was just a
10:18feeling that there is no way they're going to say no to me.
10:22I will die before I quit. And I got it. I got it.
10:26I think I was one of two people that got it.
10:30And almost immediately
10:34my confidence went from a 10 to a
10:38negative 300. I felt insecure
10:42about not being the cookie cutter star
10:46that other people were.
10:50You didn't look at me and say that's a star.
10:54We were all fighting to be in that spot
10:58at NXT and we're fighting our own insecurities
11:02and trying to find a character. So it was like growing pains together.
11:06I was willing to do anything
11:10to keep my job.
11:14When is this? She's doing a jig.
11:18She's Irish. She's Dublin. She's very leprechaun like.
11:22Here I was at 27 going out there doing a silly Irish dance
11:26being like this is my introduction to the world.
11:30Push me to the moon. Why don't you?
11:34I was like alright. Maybe that's not the one.
11:38What else am I?
11:42Who Becky Lynch was?
11:46Charlotte Flair had this great advantage of being a Flair.
11:50You knew this is Nature Boy Ric Flair's daughter.
11:54Sasha Banks came out with the rings on and the music and she was
11:58the boss. Becky Lynch came out and although
12:02she had a unique look and had all the skill in the world
12:06who was she? This is my empire
12:10better than me. So welcome Devon. Welcome everyone
12:14to NXT.
12:18But eventually we got it. She's Becky Lynch. She's someone who loves
12:22this the way we love it.
12:26Her in ring work was really good
12:30but also her personality was very charming. She was the girl that went in there
12:34and tried her hardest and that was relatable.
12:38Becky Lynch is exactly the breath of fresh air that this Divas Division
12:42needs. That passion never left her. Whatever
12:46she's doing she gives it 100%.
12:50Women
12:54are making their mark and it is time for us to make
12:58a change in the Divas Division right now.
13:02When I announced Becky Lynch and the
13:06boss Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair I mean the crowd
13:10was going nuts.
13:14All three of these characters were being
13:18introduced to that main roster WWE audience at the same time.
13:22But honestly Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks
13:26were portrayed as much bigger stars than Becky Lynch
13:30was.
13:34I do believe that WWE had their stars in mind who
13:38was going to come out of it on top.
13:48I wasn't pegged to be a star. I was not pegged to be
13:52a main eventer. I wasn't pegged to be a champion and I wasn't
13:56supposed to be in that Triple Threat match.
14:04It was supposed to just be Charlotte and Sasha
14:08that was the intention but I had really
14:12gained momentum as a sympathetic baby face.
14:16She had fought to be in that storyline. It just made sense
14:20to be a Triple Threat and I don't think that night could have been possible without
14:24everyone played a specific role.
14:34I'm at Comic-Con San Diego
14:38Comic-Cons of all Comic-Cons. They come over to me
14:42oh my gosh we want to show you this it's commemorative of that
14:46amazing WrestleMania 32 match
14:50and I'm like oh wow and they open it up and it's Charlotte and Sasha
14:54and I go oh wow
14:58wow that's cool. I was just like
15:02oh I was in that match
15:06too.
15:10It felt metaphorical that this was what was going to happen from now on.
15:14I can really screw with you to feel like
15:18the company's not behind you. You have to have a lot of conversations
15:22with yourself to be like alright why do I have to overcome all of this.
15:26She had asked me what she should do different or what I
15:30thought. I was going out there. The crowd were always giving me great
15:34reactions. When the crowd's already behind you
15:38do I need to change or do they need to change?
15:42Does the booking need to change? And I suppose it was a bit of both.
15:54For about two years I had gone from the pinnacle
15:58of the headline acts at WrestleMania 32 stealing the damn
16:02show to kind of getting lost in the shuffle.
16:06I just wasn't a priority. I have put
16:10this division and every division that I have been in on
16:14my shoulders and lifted it as high as I possibly can.
16:18My rewards? That I get to sit backstage and I'll
16:22lead some catering. It felt like in a lot of ways
16:26they could only put attention on one person at a time. So at that point it was Charlotte
16:30that they were putting all the attention on. I was in line for a
16:34single opportunity title shot at SummerSlam.
16:38Becky Lynch faces off against Carmella for the SmackDown Women's Championship
16:42at SummerSlam. And in the audience's eyes
16:46I was finally getting what I deserved. I was getting a singles match
16:50at SummerSlam at a big event and so it was huge.
16:54And then Charlotte was inserted into the match.
16:58The crowd were pissed off
17:02for me. The following contest scheduled for one fall is a
17:06triple threat match for the SmackDown Women's Championship.
17:10The match happens. I have the armbar
17:14on Carmella. Charlotte hits me with her move
17:18from behind.
17:22Pins me. The crowd's on their feet.
17:26They're anticipating this. They're waiting for me to say
17:30I'm tired of this s**t and I've had it. And then I hug her
17:34and they boom.
17:46I slapped the b**t out of her.
17:50This is one of my favorite moments
17:54in this era of WWE because
17:58it's a moment where the fans are all on the same page.
18:02Finally,
18:06Becky Lynch is taking her spot.
18:10The crowd loved it.
18:14They loved me being an a**hole.
18:18And it became this revolutionary thing.
18:30I posted a picture on social media
18:34and said, I am the man.
18:38And that was it. It caught fire. The next week
18:42there was signs everywhere.
18:46Charlotte Flair, the most decorated woman in WWE proved
18:50I am the man. She just kind of flipped the switch.
18:54She was like Becky Lynch the superstar to as soon as she
18:58called herself the man. You could just feel the shift in her.
19:02I wasn't meant to be the talk of the entire industry.
19:06But here I am.
19:10She is brutally honest. Yes.
19:14The man in the states is the top dog, if you like.
19:18Becky Lynch's popularity was growing
19:22and growing and growing. But there was one single moment
19:26that really cemented her position
19:30as the man.
19:34The man has arrived. Becky Lynch is marching down to the ring.
19:38Wait a minute, who the hell
19:42from the SmackDown women's division is attacking Monday Night Raw?
19:46All out assault from the SmackDown women's division.
19:50Monday Night Raw ends with a massive brawl.
19:54Becky Lynch gets in that ring and while all this is going on
19:58she takes a punch to the face, breaking her nose.
20:02A chaotic scene here.
20:06Becky Lynch all busted up.
20:10I'm punched. I'm somehow out on my feet.
20:14Becky may have a broken nose, obviously she doesn't care.
20:18I've never seen women with blood on their
20:22faces. It just doesn't happen that often. And it went viral.
20:30It caught a lot of traction with mainstream media outlets.
20:34In a lot of ways it got the fans behind her more than ever before.
20:40I remember
20:44my brother texting me
20:48and saying, I think we should spend Christmas with dad this year.
20:52Dad has lung cancer.
20:56And all of the wrestling stuff seemed a little less important.
21:00It's like time hasn't passed.
21:04And it was like it was yesterday.
21:08Just straight back in.
21:12And I remember seeing him and telling him, I have this mania this year.
21:16I'd love to bring you over for it. He goes, well we'll see.
21:20We'll see what? We'll see if I'm still here.
21:24And I remember being.
21:28This Christmas
21:32is a special one.
21:36Just being able to spend time with my dad.
21:40And being able to see my friends and my family.
21:44Because you never know what next year is going to bring.
21:48To main event Wrestlemania,
21:52every wrestler's dream.
21:56She had never had women in the main event, but Becky Lynch and her rise
22:00made it impossible for fans to want anything
22:04besides her match to be in the main event of that year's Wrestlemania.
22:08I don't care who I have to beat anymore.
22:12Whether it's the Golden Girl, Charlotte Flair, or whether it's Ronda Rousey.
22:16At Wrestlemania I am reclaiming everything they have tried to take
22:20from me to give to someone else.
22:24I got a call from Vince McMahon and he said, congratulations.
22:28You're going to main event Wrestlemania.
22:40How old are you?
22:44Get a little. It's very large.
22:48That's a big old place.
22:52I met Kobe Lopez my first time on the road.
22:56We were on separate shows so we didn't even see each other that often.
23:00But I always looked forward to seeing him.
23:04We started talking, hanging out a little bit more.
23:08The first time we kissed was Royal Rumble weekend.
23:12He'd been flirting with me so much so I was like, alright, put up or shut up.
23:16You're going to be about it or are you just going to talk about it?
23:20It's pretty freaking incredible.
23:24It's one thing to look out at it now when it's empty
23:28and it's not that intimidating.
23:32It's going to be a different story when you're looking out and this is all filled,
23:36like right up to the top, every single seat filled.
23:40Everybody looking forward to the main event.
23:44I'm the main event.
23:48And here comes the man.
23:52It was after midnight, I think, by the time I made my entrance.
23:56Despite the fact that the crowd had been sitting there for eight hours,
24:00they were still willing to win.
24:04They knew that they were witnessing history.
24:08For the first time ever, women are in the main event as Becky Lynch marches to the ring tonight
24:12to take on Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey.
24:16With both championships on the line, this is what it's all about.
24:20Winner take all.
24:24An electric atmosphere here tonight in our main event at WrestleMania.
24:28And a big right by Becky Lynch.
24:32You could feel, not only just hear them pulling for Becky, but they wanted it.
24:36They needed it.
24:40Let's go Becky champs.
24:44Piper's pinned.
24:48Shoulders down.
24:52Becky Lynch is the winner take all
24:56and is both Raw and Smackdown
25:00Women's Champion.
25:08One of the things I love about life
25:12is to see people succeed at what they do because of their passion.
25:16And she has that in spades.
25:20I've really made a cognitive effort to enjoy it.
25:24It's about enjoying the journey because that's where all the fun is.
25:34She went through a lot that day.
25:38To get there, but it was really a special moment and it was awesome to be able to be there for her.
25:42I love you.
25:46I don't know that you ever feel like you made it.
25:50You don't ever stop to smell the roses.
25:54You just keep on going.
25:58Week after week, month after month, Becky Lynch is on a roll unlike possibly
26:02anybody else in WWE.
26:06She's fast and incredible and chaotic.
26:14She just blew up when she became the face of the company.
26:18She's been carrying it ever since.
26:22Every opportunity was coming to me like getting to work with The Rock.
26:26The man and the great one side by side.
26:30Being on billions.
26:34She's actually got 3 million followers on Instagram.
26:38That's more than half the population of Ireland.
26:46It was just wild.
26:50And in the midst of all of that, I also got engaged to the love of my life.
26:54She was game. Big win. Big win for me.
26:58Okay, so
27:02how pregnant are you right now?
27:066 weeks and 3 days.
27:10It's the size of a sweet pea.
27:14Freaking insane that something the size of a sweet pea can just make you feel so sh**y.
27:22It was March 27th
27:26I was pregnant.
27:30This is something that I wanted my whole life.
27:34But then you realize just how much it's going to change everything.
27:38I don't know, maybe just a little bit of reality that
27:42okay, I'm going to have to walk away from this for a while.
27:46There were so many questions and no concrete answers.
27:50You never know how you're going to come back.
27:54What's that going to look like?
27:58And as happy as you are to be the champion, I might be a little bit happier.
28:02So you go and be a warrior, because I'm going to go
28:06be a mother.
28:10I had my ambitions for what I wanted in my career, but I also wanted to find somebody
28:14that I loved and settle down and have a family at some point.
28:18Why can't I do both?
28:22And I shouldn't have to worry about that.
28:26The crazy wrestling business that we've become accustomed to that says
28:30no, you can't do that, you have to wait until you're done.
28:34Well, I don't want to be done.
28:38It was a lot of relief and happiness, and now we've just got to go figure out
28:42how to tackle this new thing that we've never done, parenting.
28:46I love you so much. I feel proud of you.
28:50People kept asking me, they were like, how are we going to talk 2019?
28:54I think this kind of stops it.
29:06The first few weeks, I was quite worried about, is this the biggest mistake
29:10I've ever made?
29:14Have I lost all of my momentum?
29:18Have I done something else?
29:22That's it right there?
29:26How's that?
29:30I suppose at the end of the day, there's nothing you can do about that,
29:34so you kind of have to make peace with it all, and whether it was the right decision
29:38or the wrong decision, it was the decision.
29:42And you're going to be inviting a human into the world.
29:46I don't know how to explain. I just feel like I just don't have any push anymore.
29:50My head isn't tired, but my body just feels like
29:54it just doesn't have that extra gear, you know?
29:58She was at the gym every day, staying in shape and trying to find ways to
30:02plot her return, so it was never-ending.
30:06She cannot be contained, not even for a second.
30:10We're almost
30:1435 weeks tomorrow,
30:18and yeah, the workouts have slowed.
30:22She's still moving. Let's not
30:26take for granted the fact that she's still moving at 35 weeks pregnant,
30:30doing squats like an animal.
30:34She was embarking on this journey, this new path in her life,
30:38leading tracks, if you will. She was kind of venturing out into the unknown
30:42one more time.
30:46We're at the hospital. It is currently, what time is it?
30:50It is 8.18. 8.18 p.m. on December 3rd.
30:54We'll see what happens.
30:5824 hours of excruciating labor later,
31:02there she was.
31:08I'm so happy.
31:12Oh, my God.
31:16It was the best little noise I've ever heard.
31:20And they just placed her on my chest, and it was the coolest,
31:24coolest thing in the world.
31:28Her name is Rue Quinn Lopez.
31:32I found Rue on a list, and I loved it.
31:36So we put Quinn in there.
31:40I still can't believe we made it.
31:44It was a lot of stress, but it was also a pretty fun,
31:48exciting experience.
31:52She's always had kind of like a motherly instinct about her, but that has intensified
31:56greatly since she's had a daughter. And so I think
32:00just seeing that part kick in has been pretty fun to watch.
32:04Hi. Hi. Hi.
32:08At that time, my dad started to go downhill.
32:12My brother told me, you know, like,
32:16we don't know how long he has left.
32:20I was like, how are you doing, Dad?
32:24And he said, I'm not doing too well, Bex.
32:28And he never told me that he wasn't doing well.
32:32And then he said, I'm on my way out, Bex.
32:38On Wednesday night at 10 p.m.,
32:42my brother called
32:46to say that he had passed.
32:54The one thing everybody tells me is he just would have loved to have met Rue.
32:58He was real happy to be a granddad.
33:02My dad was the one that took me to plays, and my dad was the one that took me to the movies.
33:06My dad was the one that encouraged me to write every day
33:10and encouraged me to read and tell stories.
33:14His biggest accomplishment was being a dad, you know,
33:18and that was the thing that he was most proud of.
33:22And it was the thing that he was best at, too.
33:26I want to be able to support her the way that he supported us.
33:44Oh, is this it? Is this the first one back?
33:48Yeah, I guess so.
33:52Tuck that chin.
34:00That already gave me a headache.
34:06I anticipate that it will be a fair adjustment
34:10getting back into wrestling, especially now
34:14with this whole other more important entity.
34:18The first few days, I think there was a lot of frustration,
34:22and she was worried that she wouldn't be able to do what she had done before,
34:26live up to the expectations that she felt like people might have for her,
34:30or maybe that she had for herself.
34:34It's easy to fall into the trap of feeling like you're obsolete.
34:38I'd be training, I'd be getting in the ring, I'd be taking the bumps again.
34:42Oh, that felt good.
34:46See? That felt good.
34:50You know, and she's got a new body, you know?
34:54When you're a woman and you have a child, things are not in the same place they used to be,
34:58and your body doesn't work the same way, and she was breastfeeding as well.
35:02I kind of passed that pain threshold
35:06and was on the other side. I'm just ready. I'm ready to go.
35:10But there was one more thing
35:14I still needed to take care of while I still had the time off.
35:18By the power vested in me by the great state of Hawaii,
35:22I now pronounce you guys married.
35:26Now you may kiss.
35:30We were supposed to get married in the summer of 2020, but then COVID happened and everything got pushed.
35:34You look so pretty.
35:38But it was great. It was just super low maintenance,
35:42super easygoing, super chill.
35:46And now it was time. After 15 months away, it was finally time for my comeback.
35:58Welcome WWE Universe here in Las Vegas
36:02at the biggest party of the summer.
36:08It's been a while, two years.
36:12I think once we get tonight over with,
36:16maybe it'll start to feel a bit normal for me.
36:20I used to be a crazy person.
36:24I'd been gearing up for coming back to SummerSlam.
36:28I'd been training, I'd been getting in the ring, I'd been taking bumps again.
36:32I'm just ready. I'm ready to go.
36:36I'm nervous as hell. I'm real excited.
36:40I knew that she was going to come back and try to reclaim her throne.
36:44I just didn't expect for her to come back at SummerSlam.
37:00The first moment, the crowd all lost it.
37:04I was just over the moon. So I really soaked that up.
37:24In five minutes of being back, I had my championship back. I was back on top.
37:42There's nothing that stands in her way.
37:46Anytime she sets her mind to wanting to do something, it just gets done.
37:50Being able to come back and take that back
37:54and not lose a step, it felt pretty amazing.
37:58Angels!
38:02I came back and normally you're getting photos or you're doing interviews or you're just relaxing
38:06but I had to go be mom now. Now my little baby was there.
38:10She needed me. She needed to have a bath and go to bed.
38:14That was what I came back and did.
38:18Gosh, if anybody's
38:22troubled with a baby, I think they know the challenges of it.
38:26But it's amazing. It's the best. She's gotten to see the whole world
38:30before she can even remember the whole world.
38:34Just seeing her now play with Rue and she always has her backstage
38:38and just the way that she is as a mom and the way that Rue looks at her
38:42and is so attached to her.
38:46Yeah, I don't know how she does it.
38:50We're in a time in WWE where we're in a locker room and we look on the floor and we see
38:54wrestling boots but we also see a diaper beside it. I think that's amazing.
38:58Are you hungry? You want some food?
39:02She's such a terrible eater, my God.
39:06They say you can't have it all, right?
39:10It's a very cool thing to see what she's capable of.
39:14And to be able to show our daughter that as well is a huge driver
39:18and a huge motivator for her.
39:22She's doing NXT. She's doing RAW.
39:26She's being a mom. She's writing a book.
39:30She just doesn't want to stop. She enjoys it.
39:34Learning how to write a book is quite intimidating, knowing what's important and what's not.
39:38But when I'm out there taking risks,
39:42that's always when I do my best work.
39:46WrestleMania, welcome to the big time!
39:50I think Becky can achieve anything that she sets her mind to.
39:54And she will, without question, far exceed her own expectations.
39:58And it's thunderous in here!
40:02People love Becky, the person.
40:06And so they're going to cheer for her in whatever she does.
40:10Dreams don't happen by accident.
40:14Becky has worked and earned everything that she has got.
40:18And I just wish her all the happiness in the world.
40:22She's done so much, but I feel like she's always wanting to do more.
40:26In many ways, it feels like she's just getting started.
40:30And I just don't think there's anything she can't do.
40:34At the end of the day, you have to trust yourself.
40:38When I've trusted myself, magic has happened.
40:42Becky Lynch said earlier that this is everything I've worked for.
40:46She is determined beyond anyone I know.
40:50And that's how she's gotten where she's gotten.
40:54The man with the legs, Rob!
40:58It's the ultimate testament to how far determination and grit will get you.
41:02She's the best wife, the best mother, the best friend I've ever had.
41:06We're just going to have some big shoes to fill.
41:10But she'll have a great role model to look up to in her mom.
41:14I was never really meant to be here.
41:18It comes down to surviving, to being tested, to taking the hard times
41:22and turning them into part of the journey.
41:26I was not born to be a champion.
41:30I fought to be a champion.
41:34What are you doing?
41:38You dance with me.
41:46Oh, I dance with you, pretend?
41:50Oh, okay.
41:54Yay!
