00:00I think every athlete kind of goes through injuries at some point and if
00:03you haven't you've been extremely lucky and very smart with your training. Mine
00:07was just kind of a overuse training I had a really heavy volume competition
00:13at Worlds and then just it just didn't like it didn't respond very well so
00:17since kind of November last year I've been trying to fight back and chase
00:21time a little bit to get healthy and then when one part of my ankle healed
00:28the next bit came along and then so it's just been a bit of a struggle so
00:33just change change the plan just trained a little bit differently a little bit
00:36smarter and change the tactics and then the kind of lost move syndrome or mental
00:43block that I had was a long time ago now but it sometimes crops up a little bit
00:46and you just have to deal with fear a lot and that's something that every
00:49athlete that I know has to deal with is this that kind of the element of
00:53injury risk in trampolining and just trying to overcome that fear level
00:58because trampoline is exciting it's thrilling but with that comes a bit of
01:02bravery and fear I guess so it was a really tough time not being able to do
01:06the skills that I wanted to because my mental block was stopping me and I was
01:12just really stubborn so I just kept going because I loved the sport and
01:17wanted to get back to the standard that I was at with no regrets.
