Long ago, one of Riley's most complex emotions was revealed -- Depression. She's grey, draining the color out of everything around her and transforming the other emotions. 03:43It was like me, sort of, but more intense.

03:59It was clear that Depression was far too mature of an emotion for Riley to feel.

04:12I felt bad for letting it get sucked away,

04:15but I knew it was what's best for Riley.

04:20Though it was sealed away,

04:22Depression is a really strong feeling.

04:25I wouldn't be surprised if it was able to break out on its own.

04:31It probably tried to climb the bad memories.

04:37But if you're not careful, that can be dangerous.

04:41It can act kind of like quicksand.

04:43If you go too fast, you'll get sucked in.

04:46And since we didn't see Depression for so long,
