I'm here on the streets of Birmingham City Centre to find out what people recommend for a perfect romantic evening. With its mix of historic charm and modern flair, the city is full of unique places perfect for a special evening out. Here's what people here suggest for a memorable date.

00:13like London, maybe Leeds or Manchester. I've been there.

00:59So I don't know the city that well, I only work here and live outside of the city,

01:02but I'd probably go to somewhere like Arell for drinks

01:06and then maybe Six by Nico for dinner.

01:09They're probably the places I'd like to go.

01:11I would suggest Marker Pier White.

01:14It's a very nice, elegant restaurant.

01:16The food is amazing, they melt in your mouth.

01:18Reasonable for the price as well.

01:20And they can bond.

01:21It's a very beautiful view looking over the city.

01:24I recommend that very much.

01:26Yeah, I'd say the Mailbox area, Brindley Palace.

01:30They've got a load of different bars, restaurants.

01:32Nice scenic area as well.

01:34Yeah, oh, well we like two places actually.

01:38There's Bacchus in the Burlington Hotel

01:41and the Marker Pier White in the Cube on the top floor

01:44because the views are spectacular.

01:47Would you consider Birmingham a romantic city?

01:51What do you think its reputation is to outsiders with regards to that?

01:55Probably not romantic, but seek and you will find.
