00:23And you're right, our house does look a lot like that.

00:25So I guess we're going to be remodeling our house now.

00:32Succulents, greenery, as living room decor.

00:38I say design.

00:39But for me personally, I don't keep things alive.

00:43So as long as that includes faux succulents and faux plants.

00:49And so are the plants that I try to keep alive.

00:57Painting cabinets, when is it OK?

01:01So painting cabinets is OK, just not this color.

01:06I'm going to design the paint, but I'm

01:09But the actual application of painting cabinets,

01:14So we're going to design with the idea, ditch the color.

01:23I like to read books, not directions

01:44think you can create and define spaces creatively.

01:54Seeing a pic on Pinterest or Instagram

01:55and trying to recreate it in your own home.

01:58Yeah, I mean, there's nothing wrong with stealing something,

02:01like stealing a good idea.

02:03We steal ideas all the time.

02:04I still go to YouTube sometimes and figure out

02:07some of my construction projects.

02:09All right, so that's a key.

02:10There's your honesty right there.

02:11Minimalism versus maximalism.

02:15Are they both out or are they both in?

02:17I'm going to go with a less is more kind of approach.

02:19I think minimalist, because then everything

02:22is intentional.

02:23It looks clean.

02:24It's not cluttered.

02:25It doesn't feel overwhelming.

02:27You know, you take your minimalism to the max.

02:31And that's a design.

02:32So we're going to fold that in half.

02:34And keep them in and get rid of the max.
