00:00The opening of classes in schools has already started today, but some schools will be delayed from starting due to flooding in their area.

00:09This is the breaking news that we have learned.

00:14The students of Batasan Hills National High School arrived early for the opening of the school year 2024-2025.

00:21The flag-raising ceremony was held at 5.30 p.m.

00:28According to the principal, there are 15,890 enrollees this year.

00:33Blended learning will still be conducted due to the lack of classes.

00:37But according to the Schools Division Superintendent of Quezon City,

00:4015 out of 158 schools in Lungsod will not be able to start classes today.

00:46Eleven evacuation centers are serving the affected areas of Baguio and Habagat.

00:51Four were affected by flooding.

00:54They will start classes on August 1 and 5.

00:57They have to make up for the lost time.

00:59They will have Saturday classes and their Saturday classes will have to be face-to-face.

01:06While the classes are being opened, clean-up drives are still ongoing in Marikina.

01:10There are still a lot of trash and garbage left in the outskirts of Baguio and Habagat in Barangay Nangka.

01:15According to the LGU and CDRMO,

01:18the most affected area of Baguio and Habagat is Barangay Nangka, which is 6 feet deep.

01:24The first day of the school year 2021,

01:27the students of Dr. Alejandro Albert Elementary School in Dapitan Street, Sampaloc, Manila were welcomed.

01:32Some of the parents supported their children to go to school.

01:36It's a new environment.

01:47Dr. Alejandro Albert Elementary School will be the primary school for students of Ramon Magsaysay High School.

02:05enrolled in public schools this school year 2024-2025.
