00:14the games we can't wait to get our hands on. These are 10 upcoming games we are hyped for.

00:39This is a solid entry for all of our PS5 players because if you own a PlayStation 5,

00:44you automatically get Astro's Playroom, the incredibly charming game pre-installed on

00:49all new consoles. This game may be an elaborate tech demo for the DualSense controller,

00:53but Astro's Playroom is still one of the most engaging platformers on the system to date.

00:58Well, now we get to take this brilliant world and turn it into a full game.

01:02In this new adventure, the titular robot will explore over 50 planets in search of its lost

01:07crew. If there's one thing we can expect, it's that the DualShock controller will

01:11be utilised more than any other game on the PS5. Black Myth Wukong

01:23Inspired by the classic novel Journey to the West, this long-hyped RPG follows the Monkey King,

01:46son Wukong, through a fantastical world filled with mythical creatures and epic battles.

01:51Players will wield Wukong's shapeshifting abilities and an array of magical powers

01:56to take down enemies with a diverse range of options. Unreal Engine 5 is looking very,

02:01very tasty, and with it being the cornerstone of the game's development,

02:05it promises a deep, immersive experience. It's Elden Ring meets Dragon Ball Z,

02:10while Ghost of Tsushima drives the car. Let's go!

02:13Harry Potter Quidditch Champions

02:33What was the one thing missing from the release of the epically popular Hogwarts Legacy?

02:37Quidditch. Well, let us introduce you to Harry Potter Quidditch Champions,

02:42an upcoming fast-paced competitive multiplayer game ready to take the crown from Rocket League.

02:47Jumping into the role of a chaser, beater, keeper or seeker, this is expected to be a game that

02:53honours the source material and creates an experience gamers and Harry Potter fans have

02:57been asking for for years. You can also customise your own witch or wizard, so expect that feature

03:03to be abused aplenty. Mario & Luigi Brothership

03:21The often forgotten but much beloved Mario & Luigi RPG series is expecting its first new

03:27entry since 2018, and boy does it look good. This new adventure features the most famous

03:32bros of all time as they embark on a quest aboard a mysterious ship, encountering unique

03:37characters, solving puzzles and engaging in turn-based combat. Excitement is high due to

03:43the return of the series' signature blend of wit, strategy and nostalgia, promising

03:48a delightful and immersive experience for both new and long-time fans.

04:03Assassin's Creed Shadows

04:19Finally, we're off to Japan. The game features two distinct playable characters with different

04:24assassination styles. Naoi, a shinobi operates from the shadows, quietly eliminating targets

04:30in classic Assassin's Creed fashion. Alternatively, you can play as Yasuke, a newly qualified samurai

04:36who prefers direct combat with his sword. Instead of making you choose one character

04:41for the entire game, Assassin's Creed Shadows allows you to switch between them at will,

04:45blending the stealth of older games with the intense combat of Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

04:50It's the best of both worlds for fans who fell off with the newer entries.

05:01Call of Duty Black Ops 6

05:23Black Ops is back and is it wrong that we're strangely excited for this one?

05:27The single-player campaign has been described as a spy action thriller set in the early 1990s,

05:33featuring notable figures like Saddam Hussein, George Bush and Margaret Thatcher. We can only

05:38imagine how many players are going to attempt to drop flashbangs on every real-world figure possible.

05:44A major new gameplay feature called Omni Movement allows players to sprint, slide and dive

05:49in any direction, enhancing the game's action movie feel. Online matches are gonna be nuts.

05:58The Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom

06:17If you ask, you shall receive and after years and years of ruminating on the possibilities

06:23of how the gameplay could work, Zelda fans are finally getting their first entry

06:27to have Zelda as the sole playable protagonist. Featuring a vast open world,

06:32Echoes of Wisdom introduces new mechanics like time manipulation and spirit communication,

06:37allowing Zelda to solve intricate puzzles and engage in dynamic combat. Echoes of Wisdom

06:43aims to innovate while honouring the beloved traditions of the Zelda series,

06:46especially the classic top-down games. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chernobyl

07:07The fourth game in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series Heart of Chernobyl takes you back to the exclusion zone

07:12around the infamous nuclear power station. You'll need to survive, battle monsters and

07:17navigate strange radioactive anomalies and boy howdy do they get strange. The original game

07:23released in 2007 featured a hive mind created from 7 linked scientists, so expect even more

07:29inventive elements for this time round. Heart of Chernobyl is the first game set in a true

07:34open world. It promises to look exceptional, utilising the latest graphics technology.

07:39Given the turbulent development, we're praying for its success.

07:51Star Wars Outlaws

07:56Introducing the first truly open world Star Wars game, set between the events of The Empire Strikes

08:01Back and Return of the Jedi, featuring a brand new smuggler that's quick on the draw and quick

08:06on the snark. Following the success of the Star Wars Jedi series, we're cautiously optimistic

08:11that Ubisoft might actually be able to deliver on its promises given all we've seen so far.

08:16With varied combat approaches, game changing narrative choices and intense space dogfights,

08:21Star Wars Outlaws has the potential to be brilliant.

08:36Silent Hill 2

08:51One of the most anticipated video game remakes of all time,

08:55comes in the form of Silent Hill's beloved second instalment and we're

08:58just hoping it lands. Much like the successful modern Resident Evil remakes,

09:03Silent Hill 2 will remain faithful to the 2001 original,

09:06while updating gameplay and significantly enhancing the visuals.

09:10Once hailed as the pinnacle of psychological horror, this is a crucial moment for the

09:14Silent Hill series. Get this right and Silent Hill could have one of the most

09:18substantial renaissances we've ever seen. Get it wrong and it could bury the series for good.
