Electric scooter jitters: One friend masters the ride, the other needs a do-over

Neil and his friends were having a blast with an electric scooter, zipping around effortlessly.  One of their buddies, however, was a complete newbie.  To show him the ropes, Neil's friend hopped on and cruised around like a seasoned pro.  Feeling confident, it was the other new guy's turn.  But uh oh, things didn't quite go as planned!  He wobbled precariously, struggling to find his balance, and ended up with a less-than-graceful meeting with the ground.
