Rotherham family show nightmare journey from after holiday in Turkey

A Rotherham family’s “perfect” holiday turned sour after they were put in a ‘hellhole’ of a hotel when their flight home was delayed  Denise Tracey had enjoyed a “perfect” holiday at the picturesque Lara Beach in Turkey with her daughter Jodie Tracey, 42, and her three grand-children, Grace, 16, Olivia, 15, and nine-year-old Luca. The Jet2Holidays package had cost £8,000.  That is until the family, from Wickersley, arrived at Antalya airport for their flight home on Thursday, July 25.

00:00Thanks Jet 2. So it's quarter past five in the morning and this is my nine-year-old son,

00:10my elderly mother and my two teenage daughters and we've been asked to walk across Antalya

00:17at this time. Early hours of the morning, we've just been dumped, we don't know where we are

00:24but it's subpar on Jet 2, we don't even offer it.

01:09contact. This is absolutely disgusting. Just arrived in our hotel that we've been put up in

01:18for the evening, well I say evening, it's now six o'clock in the morning. Cigarette ash,

01:24yeah, oh yeah, it's great, look, look. Do you think this room's been cleaned? I bloody hope so.

01:32Popcorn, we don't eat popcorn, my children don't eat rubbish.

01:36This, yeah, this is great, it's like a hot tub, you know, it's great, there's even a dead mozzie,

01:58I had three holidays with you last year, three, three holidays and I've had one this year

02:06and it's cost a lot of money and you put us in in a place like this.
