US women's Olympic basketball players express support for Kamala Harris  Members of the US women’s basketball team on Saturday, July 27, said they backed US Vice President Kamala Harris ahead of her expected formal nomination as candidate to the US presidency.  As Team USA hopes to make history with a possible new gold medal at the Paris Olympics, Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) stars Breanna Stewart and A'Ja Wilson said they supported Harris. 00:07I've been talking in the, um, the group chat, especially with the, um, social justice committee,

00:13um, finding a way to make sure that we can, um, obviously back Kamala as much as we can,

00:19um, because everything that we've been kind of working for this year as far as Commissioner

00:24Cup has been about voting rights, reproductive rights, and, um, the things that she stands

00:30for we, we also stand for.

00:32So making sure that we, we can definitely stay united and, um, continue to push the

00:38message of registering to vote, knowing where to vote and all the resources behind it.
