Hundreds of thousands take to the streets in Berlin on July 27, Christopher's day, to advocate for the rights of LGBTQ+ people, with a parade, colourful floats and costumes, and lots of music.

00:07The demonstration was part of Christopher Street Day,
00:11where people advocate for the rights of members of the LGBTQ plus community.
00:18The motto for this year's demonstration is

00:25Organizers for the event say these words were chosen
00:28as the tone against the queer community in Germany is reportedly becoming harsher.
