00:00The weather is getting better, but the residents are now allowed to use the trash that was left by the flood.

00:15So even though he is afraid to cross the street that is almost full of trash, he said,

00:21You really need to be patient. I hope I won't be the one to be thrown away.

00:27In this part of Caleraya Street in Barangay Tatalon,

00:30it is hard for motorists to cross because of the huge amount of trash that is piled up here.

00:36It has been three days since the mountain of trash on the road flooded them

00:41after the heavy rain due to the typhoon and typhoon Karina.

00:47That's why the tricycle drivers arrived.

00:50I can't even walk properly because there's a lot of trash.

00:55You won't be able to go to the other side of the barangay.

00:58Because of the piled up trash on the road, the big vehicles in the area can't pass.

01:04They are calling for the trash piled up on the road to be disposed of immediately,

01:10especially since the flood is approaching.

01:13How can we let the children enter if the situation is like this?

01:18According to Mayor Joy Belmonte,

01:21the clearing operation of the Engineering Department and Department of Sanitation of Lungsod will continue.

01:27The piled up trash will not be disposed of immediately because of its volume.

01:33MMDA General Manager Procopio Lipana reiterated the call to the barangays for a continuous cleanup.

01:40We will have a cleanup drive in the barangay.
