Armoy Clerk of the Course William Munnis says the introduction of free practice for the Superbike and Supersport classes at Armoy was a popular decision with the riders.

00:00Free practice for the superbike, for the supersport and the supertone classes.

00:03So the riders all thought that was very, very good.

00:07And then we went straight into qualifying.

00:09Weather was very, very kind for us today.

00:11And a lot of good qualifying followed by two good races there tonight.

00:15The weather changed for us there this evening.

00:17We held back for an hour, almost an hour.

00:20I spoke to the riders, took some of the riders around the circuit.

00:23And we decided to go ahead.

00:25So it turned out a great supertone race and a great supersport race.

00:28So that's all to go tomorrow.

00:30Yeah, so it was a good first day.

00:32And the weather forecast is looking a lot better for tomorrow.

00:35Dry all day, fingers crossed.

00:36So a packed program.

00:38So it's going to be what we've had today.

00:40It should be more top class racing then tomorrow at Armoyne.

00:42It should be, it should be.

00:43And also introduced this year the newcomers on a Thursday night,

00:46which was very good.

00:49We took them out on Thursday night, spent a lot of time with them.

00:51And it leads to safer racing.

00:54A few slip-offs today, Wally, but nothing major.
