The joint US-Canada aerospace defence command said that the activity isn't a 'threat', but that it will continue to monitor competitors near North America and meet 'presence with presence'.

00:00The U.S. and Canada intercepted two Russian and two Chinese bombers flying near Alaska.
00:08In a statement, the North American Aerospace Defense Command, NORAD, said the aircraft
00:13remained in international airspace but vowed to monitor future activity.
00:19The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that they carried out joint air patrols with China
00:24over the waters of the Chukchi, Bering and North Pacific seas, but they say it's simply
