At the recent launch event of Veet's new hair removal solution, Sara Ali Khan reflected on Veet being her first endorsement brand and shared an inspiring message to the youth, emphasizing that true confidence comes from embracing one's true self.

00:35And I still remember my first meeting actually.

00:39And I remember them saying to me at the meeting

00:43that the very ethos of this brand embodies being the best version of who you are.

00:52but it's just removing like a layer of hair from your skin

00:57and it makes you feel more confident, makes you feel more you.

01:04And I think that through the years being associated with a brand as prestigious as Veet

01:09is obviously an honor for me.

01:11And I think that our journeys have kind of married each other quite seamlessly

01:16because I think over the years accepting who I am

01:20but wanting to be the best version of myself

01:24is a journey that I'm constantly on, you know.

01:28And I think it's the journey that Veet embodies.

01:31Be who you are but push yourself to be the best version of who you are.

01:45Now speaking of confidence, Sara, you're always, you're a public figure,

01:54which requires a lot of confidence and that reflects from your face, truly.

01:58So how, you know, what does confidence mean to you personally?

02:06What message would you like to give them on confidence?

02:11Honestly, I think that confidence is being okay and proud of who you are

02:20and trying to discover and reinvent and celebrate who you are every day.

02:41And I think that what it requires is celebration.
