00:39What do you like about this bull, Guy?

00:40Well, I guess the first thing, Simon, I'd like to say is we've been coming here for quite

00:52a while and using these bulls and the Higgins family have a great reputation for producing

00:58good practical cattle and that's probably what we like to do. We use these

01:02bulls in a herd breeding situation, breeding our own bulls. I guess we're all

01:07the time looking for something, different generics which this bull had. We're also

01:12very conscious of the data that's provided with them and you know the

01:16things that we look for is good calving ease figures, good growth, good carcass.

01:22This bull had all those sort of traits, in fact he's in the top 2% for all breed

01:27indexes, a lovely skin and muscle and just phenotypically he appealed to us.

01:32I guess the only thing that didn't appeal to us was that someone else liked him too, but you

01:37know just a well-balanced, all-around very good practical sort of bull.
