00:00The film is about an elderly writer visits this small village where he grew

00:08up and as he walks through he catches a glimpse of a same woman he fall in love

00:16with in his youth but she has not aged at all. He follows her but is not ready

00:26for what he finds. The film is 2006 released horror mystery drama and the

00:35title of the movie is Spectrum. Thomas is a successful writer who has spent the

00:44last 40 years living outside Spain. After the strange death of his wife he

00:53receives an old tarot card the love card which has a strong meaning for him due

01:02to something that happened in his past. So he returns to the small village in

01:09which he was born and raised. While driving he recalls through flashbacks

01:16his adolescence in the 60s in a primitive and a superstitious village

01:24in the countryside. While studying with his friends Carlos and Vincente they

01:33tell rumors about Mora the lonely newcomer that lives in a house on the

01:41hill. In accordance with the beats of the village the gorgeous Mora would be a

01:49witch that had encounters with the devil during the night. At a young age he

01:58desperately fell in love with a woman whom everyone in the district stunned

02:06considering her as a witch. She died a painful death during a fire and now he

02:16is haunted by nightmares and visions from which the blood freezes in his

02:23veins and her hair moves on his head. Here and there he sees the ghost of a

02:32woman. Overwhelmed by the suspicions he decides to go to the place where his

02:40beloved house once stood. They decide to snoop Mora and Thomas stumbles on a

02:49roof falls and faints. When he wakes he is in Mora's bed and the woman treated

02:59his angled and washed his clothes. He returns to her house and has an affair

03:07with her and become obsessed by Mora. His crush becomes obsession which associate

03:17to his jealousy and ignorance of the locals which leads to her a fire tragedy.

03:25The heartbreaking story is developed in a very slow pace disclosing a powerful

03:33drama of a man haunted by the remorse of his actions in his adolescence. There is

03:43no horror in the story only a psychological drama in the head of an

03:51elderly man and triggered after the suicide of his wife. This movie is a
