00:23Of all the things I could have picked in this sack, the first thing I'd pick is this one.

00:45So I shall use this, because when I get excited, I do stutter a little bit.

01:08It's so reassuring to know that they're back being constructed in America.

01:14What can you say? Harley-Davidson's, to me, are the ultimate motorcycles.

01:19And priests go way back with this particular beast.

01:25I still ride them myself.

01:27For those of you that only see me on stage on one, I actually do own one, or two actually,

01:33and do ride them in the desert in Phoenix, Arizona.

01:36So would-be motorcyclists, buy a Harley's.

01:40Hopefully they'll give me a free one after that plug.

01:44I wish. They're so expensive now.

01:47And now what have we got in here?

01:50The masters of heavy metal.

01:53And look, we're the last on the list, but at least we're there,

01:57starting with Jimi Hendrix, who's the ultimate, one of the ultimate heavy metal guitar gods.

02:59We did a photo session together on the top of the Meridian Hotel in New York,

03:05at the swimming pool, in the blazing heat, and I was decked out like this.

03:10She was wearing something very skimpy, a lot more suitably dressed than I was,

03:15but we had a wonderful time together.

03:17I don't know where she is now, though, these days.

03:20She's probably keeping somebody very happy.

03:22She was me.

03:24What do we have here?

03:26The Great 28, Chuck Berry. Chuck Berry, yes, of course.

03:30Johnny B. Goode, he was one of the men responsible for that song,

03:34and he was at the whole start of rock and roll.

03:38We did Johnny B. Goode on Ram it Down.

03:43The reason we did that, I mean, like I said, rock and roll is where it all started,

03:49like in the 50s, and this is one of the guys responsible for where we've got to now,

03:55eventually in 1990, so he's a great reference to listen to, you know?

04:02The obvious ones, a lot of roll over, Beethoven and Maybelline and Sweet Little Sixteen.

04:28Those were the early days when they pointed us in a direction,

04:34and then they pointed us in another direction and said, OK, we'll do this now.

04:40But this is a slightly better cover.

04:43Rock and Roller, the first album that Judas Priest ever made in 1974,

04:48and there's some great stuff on here even now,

04:50if you want to listen to things like Never Satisfied and Run of the Mill,

04:54which is one of the first ever power metal ballads,

04:57which everybody does these days.

05:00It's still available, and look, it's on RCA now.

05:03This album has been released just about by everybody on this planet.

05:07I can't believe it. We still haven't had a penny back.

05:11And see, we go from this, which is, how much was this?

05:14$10 and what? $11.99.

05:16To this one, which is on CBS.

05:18They're nice price, but we're still in the record shops, folks.

05:23But this, of course, is Stained Glass.

05:25This is the infamous, supposed subliminal album.

05:28Of course, there are absolutely no subliminal messages on here,

05:31so if you're going to buy it for that, I wouldn't buy it for that.

05:34Just buy it for the good music, because it's a great record.

05:37Exciter, White Heat, Savage, Beyond the Realms of Death.

05:41It's a fantastic record, and I still believe in it.
