00:00Can you just tell us the circumstances behind you getting the call-up and when you found
00:04out that you were going to be playing the game today?
00:08Good question.
00:09I got it pretty much late but yet still, you know what I mean, playing for the West Indies
00:16is something that I dreamed of and every time I get a chance to do that I do that with passion.
00:22So in my head I was a bit relaxed and, you know, whatever the captain and team requires
00:28of me I look to do that 100 per cent so it was a pretty good day but like I said it was
00:35a really good opportunity for me once again after playing my fourth test in Australia.
00:43And can you talk us through the chance you had to do the celebration in front of a full
00:47house?
00:48It seemed to go down pretty well here.
00:49Yeah, it's my third match celebration for my area where I'm from, in New Amsterdam on
00:55Guys Avenue.
00:56So whenever I get a wicket, you know what I mean, I just do it for my area where I'm
01:01from, yeah.
01:02When did you start doing that, when did you find you could go that far?
01:07It all started on the 10th day to the 8th, you know, just practising it over and over
01:11in the backlands where I'm from in New Amsterdam, Borbis.
01:16And how do you feel about the match situation?
01:19You got the 10 wickets in the day but maybe a couple of chances could have had them out
01:22a bit cheaper?
01:23Yeah, definitely we were guilty for that, putting down a few chances.
01:29Pope ended up getting off, you know, after being dropped.
01:32He played really good, he played really well, stuck out there and got 100 but yet still
01:38I think we did fairly well as a team and as a group to bowl him out once again.
01:43Even getting the wicket off Stokes there when he was looking to tee off, you know, so that
01:48was brilliant from us and I think we really did very well to bowl him out and get ourselves
01:53back in the game.
01:55Kevin, I just wonder whether you always get the somersault perfectly, do you always land
02:00it right or do you sometimes get it wrong?
02:04I didn't get that.
02:05When you do the backflip, do you always land it perfectly or do you sometimes land it in
02:10your head?
02:11No, no, no.
02:12Never did, never did.
02:13I perfected it pretty much, so I know what I'm doing.
02:17I know some fans, even Mr. Bishop, it scares him, yeah, that's a bit of that but yeah,
02:26I think, obviously it's just a trademark and I've perfected it over the years, yeah.
02:41Any questions on Zoom?
02:45Pretty easy, okay, thank you very much.
02:48Oh, no, Alan, oh, there we go, one more.
02:52Get the microphone, Alan.
02:54We do have a question, we have a question on Zoom, okay, go ahead, Brandon.
02:58Alright, Kevin, it's a pleasure, brother, to hear you.
03:02Just going over, what are you up to in terms of sports?
03:06How much are you looking forward to when you're in sport?
03:10Good question, Brandon.
03:13For me, whenever I get a chance with the bat, I just look to, you know, be out there a bit
03:19longer and look to score some runs for my team but having said that, you know, that
03:23is yet to come but I just want to remain focused and focus on my own game and whatever the
03:29team requires me to do, I just do it to the best of my ability.
03:33So, yeah, I'm just pretty focused in what I got to do when my chance comes with the
03:37bat.
03:39Alright, well done.
03:42Alan?
03:44Just wondering, Kevin, the decision to bat first, sorry, to bowl first, was that something
03:48that was discussed in the dressing room before and was everyone sort of happy with that call?
03:52It looked pretty good to bat out there.
03:54I think this keeper very much level-headed and was, you know, in control of his decision
04:00what he wanted to do.
04:02I think he was looking to put a little bit of pressure on them and use up the wicket
04:04a bit more.
04:07I think we strike early and then, you know, we let loose of the pressure.
04:11That's something that we did not want it.
04:15So, I think it was a good task to win and I think we just did the best we can today
04:21despite putting on a few chances like I mentioned earlier.
04:25And you're happy enough with them getting the score they got to?
04:27I didn't get that.
04:29You're happy enough with them getting to the score they got to?
04:32No, not really.
04:34I don't think we ever want to take 400.
04:36I think it was a little too many.
04:38But like I said, we bowl them out once again and I would say again, our bowling speaks volume.
04:46To bowl out a side like that with that quality, you know, I mean, a world-class batsman as well.
04:50So, I think if we take that any day, bowling them out once again.
04:56Okay, thank you very much.
