Take a look at some of our featured properties this week as we delve into the local property market to see what's up for sale in the North West...

00:00Hi, my name's Jack Marshall, I'm a digital reporter with the Lancashire Post newspaper.
00:04Now we're bringing you another video today based on the local property market in the
00:08kind of Preston, South Ribble, Ribble Valley-ish area, just to give you a bit of a flavour
00:14of what's on the market locally.
00:16Now we did a video last week just kind of rounding up a couple of local properties for
00:20sale and we're doing the same again this week, just to, like I say, give everyone an idea
00:24of what's out there, what might be tickling your fancy if you're looking to get somewhere
00:27new, looking to have a snoop around, find a new place to live, maybe get inspiration
00:32for a move if you're looking to kind of up sticks and try somewhere else out.
00:37So without further ado, some of the properties we're about to feature this week include a
00:41stunning four-bed, three-storey family home, a recently built modern village property which
00:47is kind of classic, classic rural living, you know, that kind of quaint, tranquil lifestyle
00:52which so many of us are looking for, a chain-free bungalow with an absolutely massive garden,
00:58a characterful townhouse which is just a stone's throw away from Havenham Park over the other
01:02side of the city which looks really nice, a spacious detached property in Lostock Hall
01:07which has also got plenty of interest, an absolutely breathtaking Downton Abbey-style
01:13countryside mansion which, while it might be slightly out of the price range of some
01:18of us, myself included, is absolutely breathtaking, you might as well have a look around it, and
01:22then finally a five-bed Eccleston manor house which is similarly stunning, this one I think
01:27is going to be really popular too, we've had plenty of people interested in that so far.
01:30So without further ado, here's a few pictures, I'll talk you through each property as it comes.
01:36Okay, so we're starting off with this idyllic four-bed, three-storey, semi-detached Ashton
01:42on Ribble home which is just an absolutely stunning family home, it's on the market for
01:46£275,000 with Jones Cameron Estate Agents, and it's just an absolute stunning home, take
01:54a look around, it's got space, it's got style, it's got everything, even a garden.
02:00Next up is this idyllic three-bed Buckshaw Village family home with a modern interior,
02:04fitted kitchen and garden, it's on the market for £249,995 with Ben Rose, like I say it's
02:13a semi-detached property in Buckshaw Village, it's got all the modern features of a modern
02:18home, it's an absolute stunner, and it's got a charming garden to boot.
02:22And the third property is this gorgeous four-bed Claytonley Woods bungalow which
02:29features four bedrooms, a modern kitchen, large living spaces, and a rear garden as
02:34we'll see, it's even got a garage as well, it's on the market for £349,995 with Arnold
02:41and Phillips, I think this is a really great property, yeah, could be a bargain for someone
02:45looking for a great property.
02:49Next one to this very, very stylish three-bed Preston home near Avonham Park, which is on
02:55the market for offers in excess of just £240,000 with Vanessa Daily Estates, which I thought
03:00was a pretty good price tag for this kind of home, three bedrooms, it's dead central
03:05obviously being near Avonham Park, and it's got the style, it's got the space, it's got
03:08everything going for it really, so yeah, take a look around.
03:12Next one, we've got this gorgeous four-bed detached Lostock Hall family home, which is
03:17just a complete package, it's got a modern facade, it's got a spacious front garden,
03:22open plan layout, fitted kitchen, huge bedrooms, it's on the market for £335,000 with Purple
03:28Bricks, so yeah, definitely going to be a poppy on this, take a look around.
03:35Now this is a standout property, it's a Downton Abbey style country mansion with a modern
03:40design to boot, it's on the market for quite a hefty price tag of £900,000 with Benrose
03:45Estate Agents, it's located in the village of Barton, it dates all the way back to the
03:491830s, now as you can see, this home just has it all, the garden in particular is absolutely
03:55stunning, so this one will be very popular I reckon.
03:59And then finally, we're on to this spectacular five-bed detached Eccleston family home, which
04:04is just breathtaking really, it's on the market for £685,000 with Purple Bricks, it's got
04:10five bedrooms, it's obviously detached, it's like something out of a fairytale really,
04:13it's got that blend of style, space, comfort, modernity, but that hint of classic air to
04:19it as well, so very impressive property, thanks for watching.
