00:00hi kids today we will learn about animal growth and changes so let's start first

00:10of all we will learn about animals and their young ones here we will learn the

00:19names of some animals and their babies all living things reproduce animals also

00:28reproduce some animals lay eggs while some animals give birth to their babies

00:37hen's young one is a chick duck's young one is a duckling cat's young one is a

00:48kitten puppy is the young one of a dog tadpole a frog caterpillar a butterfly

00:58calf a buffalo spiderling a spider piglet a pig owlet an owl kangaroo a

01:10joey goat a kid rabbit a kid deer a fawn sheep a lamb cow a calf donkey a foal

01:27horse a colt elephant a calf lion a cub monkey an infant tiger a cub giraffe a

01:41calf fish a fry so we learned the names of young ones of animals some animals

01:52like frogs hens and crows lay eggs when the eggs are hatched small babies come

02:01out of them some animals like fish and a frog do not need to take care of their

02:08young ones and there are some very interesting facts about a cuckoo a cuckoo

02:16lays its eggs in a crow's nest and the crow incubates the eggs incubation means

02:24to sit on the eggs to provide heat so that the required optimal temperature is

02:31maintained till the eggs hatch and the young ones come out now let's see which

02:46parents as some young ones don't resemble their parents at all lions cats

03:03zebras and so many more animals are the animals whose young ones resemble their

03:11parents at the time of their birth young ones of butterflies and frogs do

03:25as they grow now let's see an example of a dolphin a newborn dolphin is great in

03:34color while a fully grown dolphin is black and white in color now let's see

03:43the life cycle of some animals first of all let's see life cycle of a butterfly

03:52we will learn it in stages in stage one the butterfly lays an egg in stage two

04:03the egg hatches into a caterpillar in the next stage the small caterpillar

04:12eats a lot of leaves and grows into a big caterpillar the size of a caterpillar

04:21increases a lot this is the third stage of a butterfly's life cycle now comes

04:30the fourth stage in the fourth stage the caterpillar attaches itself to a

04:38twig and forms a hard outer shell all around itself and this is then called a

04:46pupa inside this pupa the caterpillar changes into a butterfly this hard outer

04:56shell camouflages itself from the predators now after spending a lot of

05:02time in this cocoon the pupa has changed into a fully grown butterfly and then it

05:10emerges out of the cocoon a fully grown butterfly appears and the life cycle

05:18starts all over again as a butterfly gives eggs again now let's revise the

05:26cycle

05:28stage number one the butterfly lays an egg stage number two the egg hatches

05:37into a caterpillar which is small in size stage number three the small

05:43caterpillar has eaten a lot of leaves and has grown into a bigger caterpillar

05:49stage number four the caterpillar attaches itself to a twig and builds a

05:57hard shell around itself and at this stage it is called a pupa stage number

06:07five after spending a lot of time in this cocoon the pupa changes into a

06:13fully grown butterfly which starts to come out of its cocoon stage number six

06:21a beautiful butterfly appears so kids we learned life cycles of a butterfly now

06:32we will learn the life cycle of a frog let's start first of all a female frog

06:41the eggs now stage number two after about 20 or 21 days the eggs changes

06:50into tadpoles that more or less look like a small fish and then after about

06:59five weeks the tadpole starts growing legs lungs and can swim gradually this

07:07frog then changes into a small frog with a small tail and this froglet keeps

07:15on changing into a fully grown frog and the tail starts vanishing and at the end

07:22there is no tail with the frog so kids today we learned about many animals and

07:31their young ones and also the growth changes of many animals like the
