00:00Let me teach you a simple yet brilliant card trick that you can do right now.
00:03First thing you want to do is split the deck exactly in half, so 26 cards in each pile.
00:07Then have a spectator select one half, let's just say this one.
00:09They shuffle it up as much as they want, and then they're going to memorize the bottom card.
00:13In this case, it's a Jack of Spades.
00:14You take this back, shuffle it up maintaining that bottom card,
00:17so I just peel off that bottom card as I do my overhand shuffle.
00:21And as you do this, have the spectator cut off some number of cards from this pile,
00:25put it on over to the side.
00:27Then you're going to take your shuffled pack and put it on top of the remaining cards.
00:30And now you're going to do a Klondike shuffle with this packet.
00:32So you take the top and bottom card, peel them both off and put them down on the table,
00:36and make a whole pile with this entire deck.
00:41As soon as that's done, you're going to count the number of cards in this pile,
00:43so 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11.
00:47And you're going to deal off that many cards from this deck.
00:491, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.
00:53And the 11th card will be the selected Jack of Spades.
00:58Boom.
