00:41game and has begun to be an elite player in the NBA, cannot, is not even, I think they'd

00:48put Cooper Flagg, Hawkeyes, they'd take one of the dudes from the select team first.

00:53I don't buy in that it's Nike, Scott, and I'm not going to pretend to know the entire

00:57inner workings of what's transpired behind the scenes with them, but I really do not

01:06believe, Scott, that Nike is running the U.S. Olympic basketball team.

01:11They have a hard enough time running their own company right now, okay?

01:28people around USA basketball were put off by Jalen Brown, and Grant Hill's a pretty

01:43Jalen Brown is not, and I think some people thought, and including myself, I think they

01:48just don't like him.

01:50They don't want him on the team, and I'm not talking about the players, but USA basketball,

01:56and I don't think they like his outspokenness, and I don't think they like his political

02:01He's very, and it's funny because the media ignore him, but he does have a lot to say,

02:08and he's very active for real.

02:10He actually marches with people.

02:13He doesn't just talk, he'll show up to the march, and he'll be on the street, and he's

02:16not here as Jalen Brown, he's just a dude, right?

02:19So I think it rubs USA the wrong way.

02:24I think they're worried they're going to show up to Paris, and he's going to start talking

02:27about Palestine, and genocides, and he's going to start talking about the world issues and

02:33stuff, and I think it freaks them out, and I actually do think there's some sort of animosity

02:39between him and USA basketball, because as you stated, I mean, this is just, here's another

03:40Irving's dug his own grave many times with his views, and I didn't know Brown was so

03:46hardcore, but it's got to be the reason.

03:50It's bad enough, the world, what's going on in Israel, Gaza, in Ukraine.

03:58There's enough, just in Washington with this election, with people trying to kick this

04:04guy Biden out of his ticket to run against Trump.

04:10They don't want him running.

04:11They think he's 120, so everything is so sensitive right now.

04:16The last thing they need, I agree with you, is mouths, just play ball and try to win a
