Nagbabala ang Philippine National Police o PNP sa mga kumakalat na panloloko ngayon na kung tawagin ay “arrest warrant text scams.”  Ang buong ulat sa balitang #DapatAlamMo, panoorin sa video.

00:07This is the shocking news that we have learned.

00:14These kinds of text messages have gone viral.

00:17It is said that there is a case and the person who received the text will be arrested.

00:21On top of that, there is a statement in the PNP and the words Warrant and Zabkina.

00:26There is also a sheriff who will be with them to check the property.

00:29At the end of the message, the name and the rank of an official of the PNP is written.

00:34The PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group said that all of these are lies.

00:39This is the Warrant of Arrest Scam.

00:41Those who received this are afraid and they will give a contact number.

00:45When you talk to them, they will ask for money so that you will not be under Warrant of Arrest

00:51or they will give you a bail so that you will not be under Warrant of Arrest.

00:56So that is their mode.

00:57There are different versions of this but the same is the threat of arrest.

01:01The PNP explained that aside from the wrong grammar, the information in the ad is also not true.

01:07According to the police, this syndicate has a connection with the court.

01:11It is said that there are people who have a case and they are often accused and victimized.

01:16If you receive a message like this, the police will remind you

01:20to ignore it or the first thing to do if you really have a fear that you may have a case,

01:26go to the court.

01:28That is what we should remind the public.

01:30We do not have court orders, Warrant of Arrest or any other court orders that will come through text messages.

01:39It is sent by the court and they have liaison officers who will do that.
