00:05running polling stations before being involved in the camp. It's great to see

00:09many familiar faces who I've seen over the years in the social centre.

00:14Rest assured my remarks will be brief, but I just want to say a few thank yous to a few people.

00:19I'd like to thank the police, I'd like to thank my fellow candidates for taking part in the election

00:24and I would like to congratulate Jonathan on his victory. This area is truly special

00:30and a truly wonderful part of the country and I wish him well in representing the new Pendle

00:35and Clitheroe constituency. Can I thank my own team, my election agent Adam Brierley,

00:40who ran an incredible campaign. Can I thank my association co-chair, Adrian Mitchell MBE,

00:46who has literally dedicated his life to the Conservative Party and all the other volunteers,

00:51two countless to name, who have gone above and beyond

00:55to see if we could defy the opinion polls and buck the national trend.
