00:07How long have you been in your field of expertise?

00:12I've been in this profession for more than 10 years.

00:17Dr. Salvador, you conducted the autopsy of Ricardo Veloso's body, correct?

00:25Yes.

00:26Can you share with the court the results of your findings?

00:33The cause of death is a fatal head injury due to skull fracture with epidural hemorrhage.

00:41I will show you an original autopsy report that contains the findings. Is this what you are referring to?

00:57Yes.

00:58Can you explain?

01:43Your Honor, Dr. Salvador, I am not an expert in medical terminologies,

01:52but I would like to know if such type of injury can be caused by falling and hitting the head with a hard object such as a rice bowl?

02:08Well, based on the severity of the injury, it cannot be sustained by simply hitting the head with a rice bowl.

02:16In order for the victim's head to be hit with such a hard object,

02:21it requires a lot of strength, possibly hitting it with a hammer or deliberately hitting it with a hard object.

02:38Your Honor, it is clear from the testimony of our expert witness

02:43that it was not just a simple hitting of the head that caused the death of Ricardo Veloso.

02:49Instead, he was hit hard on the head.
