00:29To get to host my favorite show,

00:32I literally pinch myself every day.

00:36Nothing about it really feels like work.

00:40It just feels like I'm getting to participate in,

00:44it's all just so much fun.

00:46I love it every day.

00:47It's so much fun, and you are bringing the fashion.

00:51What has been your favorite look so far?

00:54Well, the gold look from the premiere night

00:56was definitely up there,

00:59and I really loved the color block chain mail dress

01:04with the flippy half-up hair,

01:07because I got to feel, I felt like a futuristic pop star,

01:11and I loved that look.

01:13So I think those are my favorites right now.

01:15No, I would have to agree.

01:17I mean, you were given the looks,

01:19and you're also doing such a great job hosting.

01:21I know this was probably maybe

01:23a little out of your comfort zone,

01:24but you're doing such a great job.

01:27I mean, I hosted the morning announcements in high school,

01:29so I feel like it's kind of part of my wheelhouse.

01:38But I have to say, though,

01:40I mean, this season is delivering, you're delivering,

01:43and then the contestants are delivering.

01:46Are you shocked by all the drama?

01:49I'm shocked, no, but I'm loving it.

01:55And I feel like this entire cast,

01:59from the OG Islanders to the bombshells that are coming in,

02:04everyone is really just leaning into every emotion

02:09that they're feeling and being themselves.

02:13I think that every one of them is so important to the show,

02:17that every time we have to say goodbye,

02:20it's really hard for her to ask me,

02:22well, who would you get rid of?

02:24I feel like I can't say anyone,

02:27because I almost feel like I wish

02:29that they could just all stay the whole time,

02:30because we don't even need,

02:33do we really need new people coming in?

02:35Because they are giving.

02:37But we do need the bombshells,

02:38because turning heads, that's the big thing

02:42that we love as viewers.

02:43We need the bombshells.

02:44Yeah, when Nicole and Andrea came in,

02:46that was explosive.

02:50Everyone's handcuffed or blindfolded.

02:53I absolutely, I loved watching it on TV,

02:57but I also loved being there for all of that in person.

03:02You're like, I can just tell

03:04you're having so much fun with this.

03:05You're like, I'm such a fan of this franchise,

03:07but then you're there in person, you're having fun.

03:10Part of me feels like an evil mastermind,

03:13knowing what's coming and having ideas

03:16for what if we did this, or what if we did that?

03:20I'm having a great time, and I love all of them.

03:23And I hope they don't hate me too much

03:25for the things that I have to do when I come in there.

03:28No, I mean, you have to do it,

03:29which we have to talk about.

03:31The big thing that recently happened, Rob, Andrea,

03:35and then she was voted off the island and off the villa.

03:40I mean, I was surprised the women picked her,

03:44but what was going through your head

03:47watching that all play out?

03:49Well, with the three boys and the three girls

03:53that were standing up there,

03:54of course, I think that when you have

03:57to make a decision like that,

03:58when you are an islander and you know everyone personally,

04:01I can't imagine that kind of pressure.

04:03And you have to start thinking about

04:06all of the different factors that go into

04:09why you would choose for someone to stay

04:11and why you would choose for someone to be the one to go.

04:14And no matter who you choose,

04:16it's going to affect everyone greatly.

04:19And it's gonna make,

04:21people are gonna be upset no matter who you choose.

04:24I think that their choice in Andrea going home,

04:29you know, Andrea was very solid with Rob

04:33for the three to four days that she was in there,

04:37which is very short.

04:38But that being said, they were very magnets to each other.

04:43And that's great and that's lovely.

04:44But I think while this is not Friendship Island,

04:48it is Love Island,

04:49you do have to make connections

04:51with the other people in the house

04:53aside from just the person you're coupled up with.

04:56And that includes the other women in the house.

05:00And that includes being open to getting to know

05:04other people at all times

05:05because you have the person you're coupled up with,

05:08you have the other Islanders,

05:10then you have the audience.

05:12So the audience put her and Rob in the bottom.

05:16And then from that point,

05:17it's her fellow Islanders who are deciding who's going home.

05:20And so that's how it goes.

05:24I've seen many, many, many episodes

05:26and many eliminations and many seasons of Love Island

05:29across the entire world.

05:32And I would say that she is definitely

05:34not the first person to be chosen to go home

05:36who was in a solid couple.

05:38And he could have left.

05:41He could have left and he didn't.

05:43But you kind of told him, you're like, don't leave.

05:45You like kind of made a comment.

05:47Why did you say that to him?

05:50I didn't think he was gonna leave in the first place.

05:53And part of me felt like he shouldn't leave

05:59because I think that you don't make decisions like that

06:02in the heat of the moment,

06:03you should give it a day or two.

06:04And then if you still feel like you wanna leave,

06:07go ahead and leave.

06:08Yeah.

06:08You know, she'll still be in her hotel.

06:11She's still in Fiji.

06:13Like you could give it a couple of days

06:15and literally go see her at the hotel.

06:18She's not that, she hasn't left yet.

06:21But part of me also felt like

06:24I wanted to call his bluff a little bit.

06:28Well, now we're thinking that Rob and Leah

06:31might give it another go.

06:34And I don't know how I feel about that.

06:37I wish they wouldn't.

06:55that obviously hasn't happened yet

06:57because, you know, our episodes are filmed

07:04Yeah. So I have actually, you know,

07:06I'm constantly texting, you know,

07:08whatever producers are at the villa being like,

07:11can you update me?

07:11Like what's going on?

07:13Because moment to moment things change.

07:15And so, you know, I saw that in last night's episode.

07:19And so I'm very curious, you know,

07:21we did have bombshells coming in

07:24and so I'm dying to know what's going on,

07:27but I think Leah and Rob should not get together.

07:35I agree.

07:35I'm like, for the love of God, don't do it.

07:37Just like, cause his head's going to turn

07:40the minute another bombshell comes in.

07:43I feel like all of us have been there in our lives

07:45at different points in time.

07:47And they are way younger than me.

07:49And when I was 25, I was making all kinds of, you know,

07:54ill-advised decisions in my romantic life.

07:57And that's part of why the show is so wonderful.

07:59And we are watching these ill-advised decisions

08:02like play out in real time.

08:04And sometimes we all have been that person

08:08or have that friend that, you know,

08:10you are like, girl, don't do it.

08:12You know, we do it anyways, you know?

08:14So we'll see what happens.

08:16I do want to ask really quick though,

08:17because we have Kayla and Erin who seem the strongest.

08:23Do you think they will make it end game?

08:26Like, is there any couple that might make it to the end

08:29or will some more come in and you know?

08:31Yes, I have high hopes for Kayla and Erin.

08:34I think they're adorable together.

08:36I think if Erin can, you know,

08:39untether himself from the bromance that is Rob and Erin,

08:43I actually feel like if Erin could couple up with Rob,

08:47he might, because he seemed to cry more about Rob leaving

08:50than anything else that's ever happened in the villa.

08:53But I do have high hopes for Kayla and Erin.

08:55I think both of them, they're so cute together,

09:00but we do have Casa more coming up.

09:02And obviously that is such a huge test for both of them

09:05and we'll see what happens.

09:30because it's such a fricking good season, so.

09:33And I wanna be like, I told you guys it was the best show.

09:36It's the best show.

09:37And I'm so glad that so many people are falling in love

09:41with my favorite show in the same way

09:42that I fell in love with it so many years ago.

09:45And I'm so glad if I could spread the Love Island USA love

09:51to be able to do that.
