It's time to play catch up with some of our favorite Westerosi citizens. Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we’re counting down the biggest players in “Game of Thrones” and looking at what they’ve been up to since the show wrapped in 2019.

00:25Alfie Allen

00:26I want to fight for Winterfell, Lady Sansa.

00:32Theon Greyjoy was a hard character to like in the first two seasons, but through some

00:38harrowing experiences and Alfie Allen's strong performance, audiences grew to cheer

00:43for him.

00:44Allen earned an Emmy nomination once the show finished, and hasn't slowed down since.

00:49In 2019, he took on more light-hearted work, appearing in Taika Waititi's Jojo Rabbit

00:55as well as the coming-of-age comedy How to Build a Girl.

00:58We must never forget that it's a miracle when anyone gets anywhere from a bad postcode.

01:03And we must always be respectful of miracles.

01:08He's appeared in several TV shows in smaller roles, but in 2022, he made his Broadway debut

01:14in Martin McDonagh's Hangmen, for which he earned a Tony nomination.

01:18Next he'll play the lead role in McVeigh about the infamous Oklahoma City bomber, a

01:24performance that has already received praise at the Tribeca Film Festival.

01:30Number 9.

01:31John Bradley.

01:32I can't steal her.

01:33She's a person, not a goat.

01:36Game of Thrones featured a lot of characters hardened by life.

01:39Samuel Tarly wasn't one of them.

01:42John Bradley played the soft-mannered brother of the Night's Watch to a T, and has appeared

01:47in several other high-profile roles since.

01:49In 2022, he took on supportive roles in director Roland Emmerich's disaster film Moonfall,

01:56as well as the Owen Wilson and Jennifer Lopez-led rom-com Marry Me.

02:01People love their artists to bare their souls, then vilify them if they go too far.

02:04Well, I'm not going to let them do that to her.

02:06Although neither of those films performed particularly well with critics or audiences,

02:11it was interesting to see Bradley spread his wings with vastly different material.

02:16He reunited with the creators of Game of Thrones for Netflix's Three-Body Problem in 2024,

02:22for which he has stated he hopes will make audiences see him in a different light.

02:26There has to be a bigger mission.

02:29Number 8.

02:30Ian Glenn.

02:31There's a beast in every man, and it stirs when you put a sword in his hand.

02:35As Jorah Mormont, Ian Glenn played a steadfast ally to Daenerys Targaryen.

02:41Loyal out of love, Glenn embodied the character's sense of duty.

02:45He's appeared in a few movies, such as Disney Plus's Black Beauty, but has mostly stuck

02:50to TV work since Game of Thrones finished.

02:52He showed up in DC's Titans, where he played the iconic Bruce Wayne in the second and third seasons.

02:58That wasn't exactly on great terms.

03:00In my experience, when people part, it rarely is.

03:04He played another supportive character in Apple TV's Silo as Dr. Pete Nichols, and

03:10voiced the weary Just Belmont in Netflix's Castlevania Nocturne.

03:15But if you're interested in seeing him in a leading role, you can catch him on the Amazon

03:18Prime series The Rig, about a group of oil rig workers who must contend with supernatural forces.

03:33Nikolai Coster-Waldau.

03:34The things I do for love.

03:38Jamie Lannister had a stellar redemption arc on Game of Thrones, and Nikolai Coster-Waldau

03:43nailed the character's drive.

03:45Since wrapping the show, his work has been a bit outside the mainstream.

03:49In addition to starring in multiple films from his native country Denmark, his work

03:53in the U.S. has been more low-profile.

03:55He played the lead role in thrillers like Brian De Palma's Domino, and Nick Cassavetes'

04:00God is a Bullet.

04:01He also starred in the Apple TV mystery series The Last Thing He Told Me, alongside Jennifer Garner.

04:07I was so surprised this was happening.

04:13I got to sit, have dinner, and be with you.

04:18It was just...

04:21I felt that part of my life was over.

04:23DC fans may have seen him pop up in a cameo for 2023's The Flash, which reunited him

04:29with MAMA director Andy Muschietti.

04:32Next he'll play William the Conqueror in BBC and CBS's King and Conqueror.

04:36When the gods won't mind, they spill more blood than the rest of us combined.

04:41Number 6.

04:42Maisie Williams.

04:43A girl is Arya Stark of Winterfell, and I'm going home.

04:49Maisie Williams played the fan-favorite dueler Arya Stark, and has kept very busy since the

04:54show ended, in more ways than one.

04:57She jumped into the thriller genre in 2020 with The Owners and Marvel's The New Mutants.

05:02She also hasn't shied away from deep TV roles, such as the miniseries Pistol based

05:07on the UK punk group The Sex Pistols, and Apple TV's The New Look, which tells the

05:13beginning of the Dior fashion brand in World War II era Paris.

05:16You can be too concerned, overly, pointlessly concerned, and fussy, and all it does is cause

05:24you to worry more.

05:25She hasn't just stuck to acting though.

05:27In addition to co-founding a production company and the artistic-centric social media platform

05:32Daisy during the show's run, she's also an environmental activist.

05:36In 2021, she became a global ambassador for the World Wildlife Fund.

05:45Sophie Turner

05:46You're going to die tomorrow, Lord Bolton.

05:54As Sansa Stark, Sophie Turner's performance upheld grace and dignity in a world in desperate

06:012019 was a bit of a rough year professionally speaking.

06:04On top of the divisive final season, she reprised her role of Jean Grey in the panned

06:09Dark Phoenix.

06:10Since then, she's taken on smaller but meatier roles, such as Margaret Ratliff in the Max

06:15Drama miniseries The Staircase.

06:18If you didn't watch Netflix's 2022 dark comedy Do Revenge, you likely still saw one

06:23of her scenes as it went fairly viral.

06:32On the personal side, Turner married singer Joe Jonas in 2019, giving birth to two daughters

06:51Emilia Clarke

06:52Emilia Clarke became a pop culture icon in Daenerys Targaryen, and received four Emmy

06:57nominations for her portrayal.

07:06It was no easy feat.

07:08In 2019, Clarke opened up about two brain hemorrhages she suffered while filming the

07:13series.

07:14She also founded her own charity, Same You, to help younger people suffering from brain

07:19injuries, which earned her a Public Leadership in Neurology award from the American Brain

07:23Foundation in 2020.

07:25In terms of acting, she starred in the holiday rom-com, Last Christmas, and joined the MCU

07:30as Gaia in the Secret Invasion miniseries.

07:33That's not who we are, and that is not who I've become.

07:41Next, she'll play historical figures Jean Kerr in McCarthy and Constance Lloyd in An

07:46Ideal Wife, as well as play a lead role in Netflix's animated adaptation of Roald Dahl's

07:52The Twits.

08:06Lena Headey

08:07When you play the Game of Thrones, you win, or you die.

08:11Game of Thrones had many villains, but Cersei Lannister may have been its best.

08:15Lena Headey played her phenomenally, earning five Emmy noms across the series.

08:20Since then, it's more likely you've heard her rather than seen her.

08:24She voiced characters in Dark Crystal, Age of Resistance, Infinity Train, and Netflix's

08:29Masters of the Universe Revelation.

08:37You may have also heard her in the video game The Artful Escape, or as Superman's mother,

08:42Lara Lorvan, in DC League of Super Pets.

08:45Of course, she hasn't just stuck to voice work.

08:47She starred in the 2021 action comedy Gunpowder Milkshake, and you can currently find her

08:53on the MGM Plus sci-fi series Beacon 23.

09:01Number 2.

09:02Kit Harington

09:08With his incredible fighting skills and unbreakable sense of humor, Jon Snow was one of the easier

09:13heroes to root for in Game of Thrones.

09:16Since finishing the show, Kit Harington has only made a few more appearances.

09:20The most noteworthy was as Dane Whitman, aka Black Knight, in the 2021 MCU film Eternals.

09:33He also starred in the 2023 thriller Blood for Dust, but his franchise work has hit a

09:38bit of a roadblock.

09:39He began developing a Jon Snow spinoff series in 2022, but plans fell through in 2024.

09:46At the same time, he also revealed things were unclear about when his Marvel character

09:50would show up again.

09:51He'll next star in the supernatural horror flick The Beast Within.

10:24With pitch-perfect casting and fantastic writing, Tyrion Lannister was a favorite among favorites.

10:30The role turned Peter Dinklage into a star, winning him four Emmys and a Golden Globe.

10:35And he has only expanded his repertoire since.

10:38He's appeared in Family Friendly Fair, voicing characters in The Angry Birds Movie 2, and

10:43Transformers Rise of the Beasts.

10:45He earned his second Golden Globe nomination for 2021's Cyrano, based on the play he

10:50starred in that was written by his wife, Erica Schmidt.

11:00He then joined the Hunger Games franchise through its 2023 prequel, and appeared in

11:05Jerry Seinfeld's 2024 Netflix comedy, Unfrosted.

11:09Dinklage is an incredibly varied performer.

11:11Next, he'll appear in another adaptation of a play, this time as Dr. Dillamond in Wicked.
