00:01They're getting a middle linebacker that can actually cover in space and
00:04is going to come in physically ready to place to 25 to 30.
00:08Gavin is an old school linebacker in the box, but
00:11he has the ability to run and cover well, and he's already in the shape.

00:15He understands the coverage concepts and
00:17stuff a lot more than a lot of high school kids do.
00:19I think Nicholson's gonna like having him as a freshman.
00:22Not only they're gonna have a special team but like I bet he plays up next year.

00:31I'm not saying they won't go get a transfer or something, but
00:34like Nick's will help in some capacity got that much talent.

01:20because you had Elijah Melendez who confirmed his Miami commitment after
01:25his official visit, he appears to be fully locked in now.
01:29Miami recently landed Ezekiel Marcel in from Miami Central.
01:32If you throw Gavin Knicks into that trio,
01:35just talk about how those three complement each other.
01:38All of them can run and play in space.
01:40That's the thing like the one that's most unique is Marcel and
01:44because he's a little bit smaller than the others and could run.
01:47I don't know exactly how they will use him, but that's okay.
01:50I trust Nicholson to figure that out.
01:52That's what he makes a lot of money to do.
01:54They finally get three guys in a class that I think are stout enough,
01:58powerful enough.
01:59They played at the right program like they've all played at programs that matter.
02:03They will come into college football a little more advanced.
02:06There won't be many groups above them in any school, LSU, USC,
02:09Ohio State, anywhere that has three linebackers like that.
02:13Then they just gotta compete and figure it out.
02:15Almost every class, no matter how many good players you have,
02:17there's gonna be one guy at every spot that doesn't make it.
02:19Miami's getting enough good ones, it'll take care of itself.
02:22But all three of those guys are good enough to play major powerful football.
