Are you constantly wondering if your clothes on the washing line are damp or just cold? Laundry experts have some quirky tests to know for sure.

00:00In wintry conditions, it's common to wonder if your laundry on the line or hanging inside is still damp or just cold.
00:08Cleaning experts Cleanology have offered three easy tips to check if your clothes are truly dry.
00:16Feeling that something is wet is actually quite a feat because our skin does not have receptors that sense wetness.
00:25Your lips, though, can tell the difference between moisture and cold better than your hands can.
00:31So plant one on your laundry and you'll know whether or not it's finished drying.
00:38Hold the clothing against a mirror. The slightest moisture will cause it to fog up.
00:43Crystal clear mirror, your clothes are good to go.
00:47Take a paper towel and dab it over the clothes. If it comes away damp, your clothes need more time to dry.
