00:00Always stoked to hook up and talk college football with our boy Rich Cermonello.

00:08Hey Scott, last weekend we talked about week one in college football, early lines, gave some picks.

00:15I'm going to go a little bit deeper into the schedule.

00:18We've got games of the year, some futures games already out on FanDuel,

00:24so I'm going to give some picks on my favorite games,

00:26see if we can get some early value on those lines.

00:30I'm going to begin with week two, huge game.

00:33Texas travels to Michigan.

00:35I know a lot of folks nationally are down on Michigan, and I get it.

00:38They haven't even decided on a quarterback yet,

00:41but if you're going to give me points, plus three and a half,

00:45defending national champs in Ann Arbor at night, I'm going to take it.

00:49And here's the reason why.

00:51Michigan's defense might be the best unit in the country.

00:54They've got the elite tandem at defensive tackle, Kenneth Grant, Mason Graham.

00:59They've got the best cornerback in the country in Will Johnson.

01:03And my concern with Texas, very good Texas team,

01:06but they lost their two interior linemen to the NFL,

01:09first rounder Byron Murphy, second rounder Devondre Sweat.

01:13So I think a heavy load of Donovan Edwards on the ground.

01:17I like Michigan to win this game getting points.

01:20I'm going to move to Clemson.

01:22And week four, listen, I never pass on an opportunity, Scott,

01:26to Dog Clemson, Dog Dabo Sweeney.

01:29I think he's not doing a good job in this era of the transfer portal and NIL,

01:34but I think there's too much disrespect in that game against NC State.

01:39Clemson minus six and a half.

01:41I'm seeing a lot of books going to seven, seven and a half.

01:45Under a touchdown, I'm taking Clemson, giving six and a half to NC State.

01:50They've won nine straight over the Wolfpack in Death Valley.

01:53I think Cade Klubnick, their quarterback,

01:56year two in Garrett Riley's system,

01:58I think he's going to be a lot more competent,

02:00an elite defense again for Clemson.

02:02And I don't like Grayson McCall, the new quarterback at NC State,

02:06without Jamie Chadwell at Coastal Carolina.

02:09He struggled last year.

02:11Now I'm going to go to a neutral site, October 12th, Red River rivalry.

02:15Listen, I swear, I'm not down on Texas per se,

02:18but you're going to give me eight and a half points at Oklahoma against Texas.

02:24Brent Venables is really beginning to turn the Sooners around.

02:28That defense is one of the top 20 units in the country.

02:31I love their young quarterback, Jackson Arnold.

02:33I think this is a toss-up game.

02:35Listen, Oklahoma, Scott has won five of the last six meetings between these schools.

02:40I'm taking Oklahoma plus the eight and a half to win this game outright.

02:44Finally, with a few seconds left, Ohio State against Michigan.

02:48Ohio State's giving nine and a half.

02:50This game's in Columbus.

02:52This is three years' worth of vengeance for the Buckeyes.

02:55I'm laying the point.

02:57Seven of the last nine meetings in the game have been decided by double digits.

03:01I think this is no difference.

03:03I think Ohio State rolls and moves on to a Big Ten title after this.

03:07Give me Ohio State minus nine and a half against Michigan.

03:11Well, I mean, it's a little early for me on that other than to say

03:15they don't have Harbaugh and McCarthy around anymore.

03:19So, they're certainly not going to be the same Michigan team, in my opinion,

03:23that won the national championship.

03:25Those days are gone.

03:27So, he may be right.

03:29That's a giant number to lay though.

03:34The Notre Dame-Michigan state rivalry is going to renew.

03:38The problem I have with it is that I don't believe that's a rivalry,

03:43and I also think I'd rather watch Notre Dame play Michigan.

03:47That's the rivalry I want.

03:49Well, yeah, look, obviously they played both Michigan and Michigan State

03:54for a very, very long time before a couple of years ago

03:57when they had to disband both of those regular engagements.

04:02I think most would say that Michigan is the bigger rivalry,

04:05and I think that part of that is also, Scotty,

04:07just because Michigan has, for the most part, always been better, right?

04:13And I think that that also factors in to the equation.

04:17But I don't mind if they want to bring Sparty by for a couple of years

04:21for the Irish to get themselves a couple of wins.

04:24I'm never going to say no to that.

04:26I'll tell you another thing.

04:27I don't buy, frankly, the Navy and the Stanford either.

04:31Or, you know, I'm okay with USC.

04:34The Navy and Stanford thing is not cutting the mustard for me anymore,

04:38and no one cares about Michigan State football.

04:41Let's just get real.

04:43Look, if this guy doesn't make the playoff this year, Scotty,

04:47with it being expanded to 12 teams, and he's got a couple of tough games.

04:51I'm not going to deny that.

04:53He's going to be in big trouble in South Bend

04:55if he don't make the playoff this year, Marcus Freeman.

04:57Bringing in Riley Leonard from Duke.

04:59It didn't go well with Hartman last year.

05:01He's going to have to get this done this year, that's for sure.

05:04They also gave you the toughest places to play in the new video game.

05:08Texas A&M.

05:10Irish are rolling in there week number one

05:13and getting a victory down at College Station.
